Our Golden Circle day trip was one of the highlights of our family trip to Iceland! Our guide, Hordur, was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and full of great stories and insights that really brought each stop to life. He had a great way of mixing history, geology, and local culture in a way that was super engaging and easy to follow. Being in a Super Jeep made the whole experience even more special—it was such a unique and fun way to explore the landscape, and it allowed us to get to a few spots that regular vehicles wouldn’t have managed We learned a lot and came away with some amazing memories. Highly recommend this tour if you want to see some of Iceland’s most iconic sights with a guide who truly enhances the journey.

Golden circle private was an amazing, interesting day tour. Did not do glacier, but the sight seeing was just amazing. Great vehicle and Nicolas, the tour guide, was just fantastic

We had an amazing tour! Our driver was kind and knowledgeable and we had a lot of fun. We explored the Geysir area, got splashed by the big one :-), the Gullfoss waterfall was spectacular and the highlight was driving on the Langjökull glacier.

This was a great tour with an amazing guide. Our guide Magnus picked us up near our hotel, and was incredibly friendly and excited to show us a part of his homeland. We did the Golden Circle, stopping at the geysers, the waterfalls, and several other sites. He pointed out things in the landscape that we never would have seen without a local guide. He answered all of our questions and was a great conversationalist. He was entertaining, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable of Iceland's history and culture.

It was really a good experience. The guide was knowlegdeable, and very polite and reliable. The places which we visited were really unique and beautiful. We did Golden Circle and Jorkursarlon glacier lagoon private tours by a Suburban. The vehicle was in very good condition and was really comfortable for 4 persons. I really recommend Activity Iceland 100%. When we visit again Iceland, we will book again with them for sure. The overall service is excellent as in all aspects Super formal and had what we expected from a private tour.

A Fantastic tour of the Golden Circle. Our driver was amazing and friendly and very knowledgeable of all things Iceland. The vehicle was extremely impressive, clean and well maintained. Being a private tour we were able to personalise what we wished to do and we were able to stop and take photos whenever we wished. We visited Geysers and hot Springs, waterfalls and lava caves stopped for lunch at a very good restaurant and shopped for souvenirs along the way. We concluded our tour at Þingvellir National park the confluence of two tectonic plates and home of the ancient Icelandic parliament. We hiked for about 40 minutes to the top where our driver was waiting for us. It was timed perfectly with the sunset as we reached the top. I would highly recommend this excursion and wish to thank Magnus our driver.

We visited Reykjavik on a cruise and booked the Private Golden Circle Tour with Activity Iceland, and we LOVED it. Worth every Penny. Our guide knew to avoid the crowds ( where-ever possible) and indulged us in extra stops along the way. I would definitely recommend to book your tours with this professional company either one day or your entire stay. Our private van was a decked out Mercedes Sprinter, so just goes to show you the level of service!

Our tour was fantastic, but our tour guide Gunnar made the tour ASTOUNDING! We had an amazing time!! Nowhere he brought us was lackluster, everything he taught us was engaging, there was never a dull moment! If you have the privilege of being guided by Gunnar be sure to ask him about all of the many jobs he has worked. He has a plethora of amazing stories, connections, and goals. Make sure you ask him about the modifications he’s made to his vehicle.

Gunnar was an amazing tour guide!! I was so impressed with the range of things we got to see (geysers & waterfalls) but the coolest was the glacier that we got to walk on & explore. Gunnar was informative & interesting as a tour guide, you definitely need to book with him!
