5.00We did the Golden Circle & Secret Lagoon Private Tour with Reykjavik Outventure, and it was an absolutely spectacular experience. Right from the start, we were struck by the beauty of the places we visited. Þingvellir National Park, the majestic Gullfoss waterfall and the Geysirs geothermal area left us marvelling at every stop. Each place had its own unique atmosphere. Our guide was a real treasure. With his experience and knowledge, he not only took us to the best places, but also told us fascinating stories about Iceland's history and culture. His explanations made all the difference, adding an extra dimension to our adventure. I highly recommend the Golden Circle & Secret Lagoon Private Tour by Reykjavik Outventure to any group of friends who want to explore Iceland in an authentic and memorable way. It was a journey that will remain etched in our hearts forever.

5.00We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Great stops with a guide who knows how to avoid the crowds. He tailored the day to really appeal to our needs. Lunch was Amazing! He found a great restaurant that was a big hit with the whole group. We ended the day with a drink and amazing appetizers in a great tomato farm. Would recommend this tour to anyone looking to get the most of the Golden Circle.

5.00We chose to do a private Golden Circle tour with Outventure because 1. the cost for 4 adults was not much more than 4 seats on the small tour 2. we wanted to cover as much ground as possible in one day (daylight 11am-4pm in January) 3. we wanted to make the most of our first trip as a family to Iceland 4. their customer service pre-trip was fabulous - they even replied on New Year's Day 5. they were a recommended provider by our hotel 6. we didn't feel confident driving ourselves in minus 10 and snow. Our guide Asgeir collected us promptly at the hotel, at our chosen time of 10am so everyone had a lie in ahead of a whole day out, drove safely everywhere, and was a mine of historical and cultural information. I enjoyed asking questions about the areas we travelled through and learned a lot during the tour. We visited the National Park, the waterfall, and the Geysirs, all at an unhurried pace, and allowing for extra time at the gift shop he recommended. It was the small things that made a difference - we would not have chosen the lamb soup for lunch at Gullfoss cafe but he was right it was absolutely delicious, and he showed us the different areas at the Geysirs we would have missed, and having the description as an easy conversation as we walked around the National Park. He was particularly helpful to me as I trod very gingerly over the ice in some areas and we all went at my pace not a big group pace. There was not one question we had he could not answer. I would recommend this tour if you want to travel in comfort, at your own speed, and with full access to a charming, warm guide, it was better than having a guide book. We felt well looked after from enquiring about the trip to being dropped back at our hotel at the end.

5.00Outventure tours picked us up right at our hotel. Jacob was our tour guide for the day and he was wonderful and knowledable. The tour takes you the national park, Pingvellir where you are witness to the forces of tectonic plates and the history of early Icelandic government. Next, a visit to an Icelandic farm and to learn about Skyr, icelandic yogurt and lunch of hearty soup, bread and homemade ice cream (yum). We finished the day enjoying soaking in the oldest geothermic pool on the island. We never felt rushed and truly enjoyed the insightful commentary of our guide Jacob. In the winter this tour gives you an opportunity to see sights and enjoy the food of Iceland you might not if you were driving your own car.

5.00We are so glad we booked the golden circle (wed 29 jan) and northern lights (tues 28 jan) tour with this company !! Well worth the money. The guides were fantastic Omar and Kristinn always informative, joking, friendly, polite and very patient with us. Nothing was to much. I would tell everybody to checkout reykjavik out venture We booked through the tourist office and they did a great job of pointing us in your direction. We loved it !!!! And also ladies when Kristinn enters the secret lagoon the temperature rises ( and we don’t just mean the water ) And the lights OMG ! This company gave us the best memories! Thanks from The Three Old Tarts On Tour ! One suggestion take their advise when they say wear warm clothing !! And the lights were going off !!!
