Seljalandsfoss waterfall
The first stop is Seljalandsfoss waterfall. This is one of Iceland’s ideal waterfalls. Photographers absolutely love to photos of this one. Most of the year you can walk behind the waterfall, but make sure you have something water resistant because you will get a little bit wet. The water in this waterfall runs from the glacier lying on top of the Eyjafjallajokull volcano.
Skogafoss
A short drive further to the east, you will drive pat the fence of bras and visit Skogafoss waterfall. This waterfall is one of the best ones in Iceland and Reykjavik Outventure staff has picked it as the nr.1 in Iceland. If you have ever imagined the perfect waterfall, then it would probably look something like this one.

5.00The southern coast is beautiful. The landscape is awe inspiring especially the black sand beaches. The waterfalls were fantastic. We especially enjoyed walking behind the Seljalandsfoss waterfall. Then the day was capped off with a true Viking meal. The best part of our trip, however, was our tour guide, Toby. He went above and beyond. He regaled us with the history of Iceland along with Icelandic sagas and facts. He even stopped and searched for the Northern Lights for us despite having been guiding us for 15 hours (this was not which part our of tour and having been leading a tour late into the night before). Overall, the experience with Reykjavik Outventure was terrific! Thank you, Toby!!!!

5.00I went on an amazing South Coast tour with Árni. The wind was bothering my eyes while we were hiking on the glacier. He was kind enough to lend me his sunglasses for the hike. He was awesome and the glacier hike was the pinnacle of the tour. Thank you so much. It was very memorable!
