A beautiful tour. Not fast paced or crowded. We enjoyed the private water taxi across to the islands of Murano and Burano. As our tour was in the afternoon we watched the sunset over the water. Beautiful. Glass blowing. Lace making. Cookie baking. All artisan crafts. Each one different and unique. And each one in danger of disappearing. We were greeted with a lovely glass of cool drink to watch the demonstration. Our glass blower is a true genius who was singing and humming as he worked. The others with him moved together like a well choreographed dance. It was magical and beautiful to watch. The woman making lace in Burano was also beautiful to behold. Her fingers were working quickly and delicately to create the most beautiful craftsmanship I’ve ever seen. As we sampled the traditional cookies we enjoyed the soft buttery flavor. Not too sweet. Just right. Of course we purchased something and would’ve bought more if we’d had time. That was the only downside. As it is the end of the season. The sun is setting earlier and we’re the last tour of their day. Overall a beautiful way to spend our first afternoon in Venice.

Very nice activity! We liked the boat ride and love the visit of Burano! A thousand colors per thousand houses! To do it is extraordinary. Our guide Giovanni was warm and made a lot of effort to speak in French. He is also a history buff who knew how to transport us to the Venice of yesteryear. Thank you very much!

It is full of culture and colorful landscapes, the guides are warm. Attending the blown glass workshop is good, just wait to get to the village of Burano, as glass crafts are cheaper.

The guide Michela was very competent, engaging and interesting: she told us the story, anecdotes and gave relevant suggestions. The tour is compressed in time: 1 hour more could help you to better enjoy the places visited

Went on a trip to islands Murano and Burano on October 31 which was a massive win situation. The weather was nice, Murano glass factory demonstration was very captivating and amusing, while on Burano there was Halloween celebration and a lot of delicious cookies. Our guide was wonderful and on the way to islands never stopped narrating and explaning important matters in good English. There was a lot of space in the boat inspite of solid amount of people. It was a very comfortable and interesting trip which left me completely content with my choice of destination. I totally recomend leaving a day on your trip to Venice to visit these islands.
