We booked this tour through Viator. Arriving at the ticket office to find it was operated by Tours & Tickets without any reference to Viatour. Agent checked us in and provided tickets which had a value of $20 Euro less than what we paid for. Once on the bus we were advised that the tour had changed: no 75 minute river cruise, no stop nor visit to Madurodam. They tried to make up for it by allowing some extra 'free time' in Den Hague and Rotterdam but had we known of the changes in advance we probably would not have gone. There was no offer of a discount nor partial return of the fees paid which I feel should have been offered given there was no boat cruise included (which would have been paid for and no doubt included in the overall pricing). Somewhat disappointed In that the experience did not live up to the tour description

Tony was a terrific guide. He was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The tour itinerary, however, was lacking. We had hoped to spend a longer time at The Hague than just visiting the gates for photos. The stop in Madurodam was a waste of an hour. The little bit of history covered at the location had already been covered by Tony. The stop at the factory in Delft was interesting, and the town area was fine for lunch. The cruise in Rotterdam was bad. Automated tour narration, kids running around, too noisy to hear anything, and then the staff was asking for tips. We heard that cross might be eliminated in the future. We spent some time in an interesting market squatter, interesting architecture. It works have been nice to have more time there instead I of the cruise.

This is not a reflection on our guide or driver, since they did their job well. It was more on how the itinerary was packed and you ended up with activities that was not what you wanted. We spent too much time in Madurodam, we could have cut it in half. Delft looked lovely, but we spent time on an earthenware factory, when there's a lovely old city to explore. Then we literally just drove through the Hague and had that 10 min photo taking in front of the Peace Palace! And the river cruise on Rotterdam was nothing more than seeing tons of cargo ships and not really seeing any scenery. It was 75 minutes that could have been cut down into 15 if need be. Over-all, a long tour that just crammed all of these places just so that you can say you've seen them. I wish that the tour operators will focus more on depth and better experiences vs just going through the motions of being able to say that you've been to this place.

The time at Madurodam can be shortened. Most of it would be of more interest to families with young kids. The cruise was over 90 minutes. Nothing of interest to see until the last 30minutes. There was no live guide. The recorded guiding came on for the last 30minutes only. The cruise should be cut short to total of 30minutes.
