Wilpattu National Park

Wilpattu National Park is known for a high Sri Lankan leopard population, Sri Lankan sloth bears, and Sri Lankan elephants. The park is also a top birdwatching destination, home to Lesser Adjutants, Spoonbills, Shikras, Painted Storks, Crested Hawk Eagles, and several other species of birds of Sri Lanka.

A well organised operation. Even though, we did not get to see a leopard or a sloth bear, we did see a elephant and another animals. The guide tried his hardest but that's the beauty of nature unpredictable. Both drivers at the safari park and Mandula our car driver to the park were excellent. An enjoyable experience.

Incredible safari experience! See elephants, water buffalo, an amazing array of birds! The guides are knowledgeable and help you find the best spots to view the wildlife.

What an incredible experience! We spent 4-5 hours exploring the park with our personal guide who helped us find all sorts of wildlife including elephants! The guide was especially good at spotting animals we would have missed. And we got to see elephants!
Excellent value for money- a must go trip.

The trip IS AMAZING- no doubt about it. Good care, very friendly drivers and wonderful experience. I would recommend it to everybody, value for money is excellent. I am very grateful for it. One advice- take your own breakfast, as this is NOT included (not a biggie, before you jump into your safari car, driver stops at a very nice place where you can get something).

Long day out but worth it see the animals. Tour guide was friendly as well. Take snacks as you can be waiting around to see the animals

After some misunderstandings in the communication, our trip and experience was fantastic. The Iceland pearl tour really gave everything to make our experience just so amazing. Everything from our private driver to the experience in the nature park. We got to experience amazing mixed environment when we felt that we were basically alone in the park. That's how big it is. Wonderful animals in their element. However, the highlight was to be able to see and study the leopards, not one but four. We thank our guide for his drive and dedication to this wonderful excursion.

Nice safari with friendly guide who did his best for us to see all animals. We saw nearly all animals although binoculars are a must in my opinion

The park was beautiful! I very much enjoyed riding around the park. I saw many different animals, and the guide was great at spotting wildlife.

We had an amazing time on the safari. The service is very good and we felt well looked after. Our driver, Ranjith, made the experience so worth it!!
