Sip your way through our sake tasting in Tokyo. Discover new sake tastes and build your own sake style with nicely paired Japanese snacks. Join our sake lesson to discover new styles and sample sake pairings with a sommelier for 2 hours. Demystify sake through learning and exploring your taste buds.

You will learn Sake 101, including brewing techniques, history, and labels, in a small group with a sake sommelier over two hours. You will meet a sake expert from the international sake sommelier team in Shinjuku, the center of Tokyo, to learn about and sample various sakes. During the workshop, you will try more than six different types of sake to discover your favorite and create your own tasting chart. Enjoy sake while tasting locally sourced snacks paired with it to experience how sake complements your meal. If applicable, you will also have the opportunity to meet Japanese sake enthusiasts in Tokyo and learn some local tips.

5.00Had a wonderful afternoon sake tasting with Megan: she led us through all the sake experience and info in a fun, amusing way while we tasted the different varieties and asked her about all kinds of stuff. Great hostess, wonderful choice of sakes and lovely snacks to top it off. Thank you Megan!

5.00Sake Jo was funny and very educational. We learned a lot about Sake with an informative powerpoint presentation while pairing with Doritos, nuts and Japanese biscuits. Would recommend if you like sake and want to learn a lot about the process of making sake.

5.00It was just a wonderful experience! Joe has been a great host, very educational, lots of fun and the assortment of snacks was just amazing! 10/10 i would recommend do this if you are in shinjuku or around. We had a really really great time!

5.00Such a fun experience, really recommend!! You get to try different types of Sake, both fruity, dry and sweet. Really fun for me as a bartender when I got to learn a lot about the process and flavors! Hawaii Joe was so nice and taught us a lot while he was very good at teaching, really easy to talk to and understood your questions and thoughts!
