SEA LIFE Loch Lomond Aquarium
Meet venomous creatures like our Lionfish and Scorpion Fish and find out how these amazing predators use deadly venom to protect themselves from larger creatures while hunting for prey Then come face to face with some of the top predators in the reef’s food chain as you meet our moray eels, stingrays and collection of sharks. Find out how we care for these amazing creatures and what you can do to help protect them and their habitat. Our new Predators of The Reef area sees a £25,000 refurbishment of the area that previously housed our Clownfish (don't worry, you can still 'find Nemo' in our corals display!). This area will be completely refurbished and re themed to showcase some of the weirdest, fiercest and most venomous predators the reef has to offer. This area will now offer an introduction to the food chain before visitors move on to our Ocean Tank and Tropical Ocean Tunnel, where they'll meet the top predators of the reef and Scotland's largest collection of Shark species! Don't miss Scotland's largest collection of Shark species being fed in our Ocean Tank every second day at 13.30. If the Tropical Sharks aren't being fed on the day of your visit then our Deep Loch Tank containing our Native Sharks and Rays will be! Have you ever wanted to stroke a starfish? Now’s your chance, at our rocking Rockpools! Visit our Bay of Rays and meet the only Cow Nose Rays in Scotland! Prepare to be amazed as you come face-to-fin with our incredible Bonnethead Sharks. These amazing creatures are members of the Hammerhead family! Can you spot them in our Ocean Tunnel swimming around the abandoned shipwreck?

This was our first proper outing as a family with the little ones. It isn’t too big so the size was perfect for us as the kids didn't get too tired. We have visited before as a couple so knew what to expect. We got 50% off on admission which was super great. We were in at 12 and were done by 2:30. The cinema was nice for kids too. Their first time experiencing that too. The cafe was good. The pizza twist was very tasty. Our lunch cost us £21 which is not bad for two adults and 3 toddlers (under 3)

We love coming here, worth the 1.5hr drive. Can spend hours here, so much to see, the cinema is a huge bonus too, kids love it and it gives us parents a wee break 😅 April the sea turtle is my personal fave!

You don’t need much time for this exhibit. It’s geared to very small children. I got discounted tickets through blue light card luckily as I think the full price is really overpriced for what you get. Sea life centre is very did now to the years gone by, maybe I’m just older and everything seams smaller and shorter 🤷🏻♂️

This attraction was great from the aspect of staff friendliness to the variety of animals. The animals were very visible and in clean environments which was super amazing to see. My only kind of criticisms is the photo at the start of the attraction. We decided to have this done but there were no mention of any cost should we want them. I mean we paid £44 for 2 adults, you would possibly expect that to be a free service. But maybe I’m being too critical. The only other criticism is the crowd control. The amount of people in the attraction is obviously good for business but there really should be bigger restrictions and maybe extended entry gaps to allow people to go through the attraction without the unnecessary stress of trying to reach around and stand on tip toes to view something. The overall attraction wasn’t too big but certainly worth a visit, maybe on a weekday. There could be better signage for going up to the higher floors as I found myself stuck with this part of the attraction. It’s a shame the cafe on the 3rd floor isn’t more independent and serving just branded costa coffee which is never a good experience. Overall worth a visit but much potential for the place

My partner and I (nerdy 30-year-olds) were excited to go and check out the Aquarium, and whilst we learned some things and had some sweet moments, I was a bit concerned about some of the enclosures being too small for the fish. Quite a few creatures were going round and round in circles endlessly, looking a bit manic and very bored... it left a kind of sad feeling with us. We were also concerned that the turtle didn't have a sand bank of anything smooth to climb up on and rest... with a very small inclosure lackign stimulous. We were also taken aback that none of the marine life or education here was connected to the place at all. As this is an aquarium situated on a very famous loch we were hoping we would be learning about life inside the loch, far from it, most of these creatures are from the other side of the planet... a bit strange to say the least. Although it did really look like all the staff cared and were very friendly.

Visited on a Sunday afternoon, with family including my 20 month old granddaughter. We all had a great time. Our granddaughter loved seeing the fish and there was so much to see down at her level. The staff were all cheerful and very helpful and we enjoyed reading about the fish and seeing the big turtle being fed. Great way to spend an afternoon. There is lots of parking and the location is stunning - there is a view point over the Loch at the top of the centre. Would recommend.

It's OK. Very expensive for what it is as it's very small. It took us about 45 mins to get round moving quite slowly. Midweek prices are OK but I wouldn't go back at the weekend.
