SEA LIFE Loch Lomond Aquarium
Meet venomous creatures like our Lionfish and Scorpion Fish and find out how these amazing predators use deadly venom to protect themselves from larger creatures while hunting for prey Then come face to face with some of the top predators in the reef’s food chain as you meet our moray eels, stingrays and collection of sharks. Find out how we care for these amazing creatures and what you can do to help protect them and their habitat. Our new Predators of The Reef area sees a £25,000 refurbishment of the area that previously housed our Clownfish (don't worry, you can still 'find Nemo' in our corals display!). This area will be completely refurbished and re themed to showcase some of the weirdest, fiercest and most venomous predators the reef has to offer. This area will now offer an introduction to the food chain before visitors move on to our Ocean Tank and Tropical Ocean Tunnel, where they'll meet the top predators of the reef and Scotland's largest collection of Shark species! Don't miss Scotland's largest collection of Shark species being fed in our Ocean Tank every second day at 13.30. If the Tropical Sharks aren't being fed on the day of your visit then our Deep Loch Tank containing our Native Sharks and Rays will be! Have you ever wanted to stroke a starfish? Now’s your chance, at our rocking Rockpools! Visit our Bay of Rays and meet the only Cow Nose Rays in Scotland! Prepare to be amazed as you come face-to-fin with our incredible Bonnethead Sharks. These amazing creatures are members of the Hammerhead family! Can you spot them in our Ocean Tunnel swimming around the abandoned shipwreck?

We took my grandson of 15 months to see the fish and Santa. I’d thoroughly recommend it! The staff were amazing and extremely helpful. The Santa elves and staff were so good with the children. I’d definitely recommend and would come back again. Thank you. Adam loved it!

It’s okay, I took my daughter for her birthday as she loves sealife and she enjoyed it. She’s 2 so loved seeing the different fish and colours. I got the adult and toddler mid-week ticket so it only cost us £18 which wasn’t bad, however, we so nearly paid over £100 to go with my parents and partner too just the weekend before and I’m so glad we didn’t. No chance you can justify that spend for the little that’s there. It’s an okay aquarium but there’s definitely better out there with far better value for money.

My daughter and I did the VIP experience with shark feeding. It was awesome. Jack and Bob (hope I’ve got that right) were brilliant. Very informative and was great to hear the different ‘personalities’ of the different fish / sharks. It was great to see the tank and the sharks from the top.

Took our three year old here for her birthday today. We usually go the deep sea world but on seeing sea life we'll be making the trip here in future. Absolutely fantastic wee place. All sea life exhibits packed with loads of different creatures, was especially impressed with the size and different colours of the lobsters! Daughter loved the 'big ugly fish' in the larger tank with seating area. Spent about two hours wandering around the ground floor aquarium then watched octonauts in the cinema, wee toy from gift shop and some scary shark photies assisted by the lovely staff. Birthday well spent! Will definitely be back *****

Very enjoyable visit. Loved all the exhibits, especially the little horseshoe crabs. Prebooked admittance fee was reasonable at £14 each. Visit time was unlimited as it was very quiet. Costa cafe was OK despite edibles being a little stale.

Spend over two hours with my 6 year old Grandson taking out time exploring all the corners of the aquarium. Thought the ticket prices were very reasonable, staff were all excellent, very welcoming and helpful. Especially loved the otters, and the large grouper fish with the sharks. Have the cinema a wee twirl, was pretty empty but for younger kids did the trick. Cafe was also reasonable.....upper level for the higher view over the loch was closed. All in all a good experience, my Grandson loved it.

Went with my 4 year old and spent a good hour going around the Aquarium area. We saw Sushi and Tofu being fed, which my daughter loved. The "quiz" also helped keep her engaged throughout the visit. She also loved the rock pool area where she was able to see and gently touch a few of the sea creatures (urchin and star fish). This blew her tiny mind. Entry for the two of us was £14, which I thought was reasonable. I didn't go to any of the upstairs sections.
