The statue of Edvard Grieg sculpted by Ingebrigt Vik is a popular Bergen landmark. Edvard Hagerup Grieg was born in Bergen in 1843. He was a Norwegian composer and pianist, widely considered one of the leading Romantic era composers, and his music is part of the standard classical repertoire worldwide.

One and half to two hours walking which involves some steep hills. Knowledgeable guide with some great stories and a wicked sense of humour. I don't think we could have found some of the locations without him.

Our tour guide Ivan shared insightful knowledge including the history of Bergen. Great storytelling. Even gave us a list of food recommendations to go to. Great start to my first day. Fantastic tour and would recommend!

The guide Ignacio (Nacho) was amazing - so friendly and informative and knowledgeable and it was fun and lighthearted- lots of great tips and information and a great guy, exceptional - I loved it - Chris
No refund when they cancel the tour

De guide cancelled the tour and said I would get a refund. I have not received my refund even though the guide said he had issued it. To get my refund I have to make a complaint which is a lot of work.

Ivan was a wonderful guide, full of information and detailed tid-bits. The walk was easy with plenty of photo opportunities! I was extremely grateful for his fish house recommendation for dinner, it was FABULOUS!🥰

This was one of the best walking tours that I’ve ever done! Ivan from Walking Talking Tours was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the beautiful city of Bergen. We were a small group and Ivan took time to take us to some amazing places, and he explained the history thoroughly. His English is excellent and he made the tour amusing with many anecdotes and stories. Ivan was considerate, giving us time to take photos, and offering us advice and recommendations on further things to see and do in Bergen. This walking tour was a great overview of Bergen, especially in areas that we wouldn’t have seen on our own. Ivan was very knowledgeable about the city and gave us some good history and insights along with local historical music. There were only 5 people in our group and he was inclusive of everyone’s needs. Only one thing to point out….the description indicates snacks and there were not snacks, not that snacks were needed! Would highly recommended this tour!!
