We thoroughly enjoyed our Hobart Wanderer tour with Hans. Each stop was great. We had lots of time to enjoy Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary (and beat the cruise crowds!). The lunch stop in Richmond was lovely. Then came the interesting drive up to the top of Mount Wellington to enjoy the amazing views from there. Hans gave us so much interesting information all along the way. He is a great ambassador for the company and for Tasmania! Thank you so much, Hans!

Peter was a great guide. We saw everything there was to see. It was a great tour. Boomerong was wonderful. We all had a great time

Mt Wellington is not worth the 2 hours of time and driving in the fog. Bonorong is better first thing as the animals are more active. Richmond was worth a drive through it a coffee stop. Over all a 3 star tour. Our Guide Gary was informative and friendly. Bus a bit cramped and warm. I have used I wonder Tasmania in the past and was very pleased with the additional stop at a national park rainforest with waterfalls can't remember the name but it was a highlight of my visit to Tasmania last time. I would recommend this company. Different tour.

My wife and I enjoyed our experience on this tour. We had a great tour guide (Paul) who gave excellent commentary over the course of the tour. We got to see much of the countryside as we traveled from the cruise port to a animal sanctuary, a historic town, and Mt. Wellington. We had plenty of time in each stop.

We got to our meeting spot early and Paul our tour guide was ready to go! Two other couples arrived early too thus we got to take off early for our tour. Since we got to the animal sanctuary early, I was able to feed the kangaroos early and it was quit peaceful! Richmond was a cute quaint town with little shops and a yummy bakery. And of course the old bridge. Wellington view was spectacular and you could see for miles! We were lucky it was a clear and nice day for us! Paul was very knowledgeable about Tasmania and he loves living here and sharing the love for this island! He was able to drop us off for some shopping downtown instead of the wharf area. Highly recommend this tour!

Peter was great and waited for those of us still stuck on the cruise ship due to the slow immigration process. He provided a local touch to his commentary. This was my favorite excursion so far on our cruise. View from Mount Wellington was great even if it was a little overcast. I enjoyed seeing my new favorite animal the Tasmanian Devil at the Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary as well as the Wombat and Echidna. We had enough time in Richmond to check out some shops and get a snack. Really had a good time today and felt that I learned a lot about Tasmania. I was pretty impressed given that Peter is a sheep farmer who is helping out his son - what a great dad.

We had a fantastic tour. Peter our guide was excellent and had great knowledge of Tasmania and the places we visited and gave great commentary throughout the tour. Because the weather was superb, he took us up Mt Wellington first where we got some stunning views over Hobart and Tasmania. The sanctuary was better than expected and Richmond was great for the lunch / drinks stop. Thanks for a great tour Peter, we would definately recommend this tour. He was also a great photographer and took some great pics.

I was disappointed with the Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary. We saw one Cockatoo, one wombat and one Tasmanian Devil for a split second.

The stop at Mt Wellington was too short. Stopped for 15-20 minutes on a beautiful day. Not nearly enough time to see all of the views. The animal rescue park was fantastic. Spent about 90 minutes there which gave us lots of time. The visit to Richmond was nothing special. We spent 75 minutes there which gave us time for a quick bite and a walk around a typical small town. Wish we had spent less time in Richmond and more at Mt Wellington. The driver/guide tried his best but found him a bit boring.
