What Alaskan trip would be complete without mushing? Join us in Fairbanks, Alaska, to hop in a sled and join one of our mushers on an exciting training run with our champion Alaskan Huskies. Experience snow-covered forests, vast open snow fields, and even sledding on a frozen river! Learn why there’s no better way to experience the Last Frontier than on a dog sled. Once you arrive at our winter tour office, you will meet our experienced dog mushing guides and learn all about the Alaskan Husky and what dog mushing is all about. Then you will get in the sled with our huskies and your guide for a 2-mile ride in a beautiful winter wonderland. Notes: Please dress warmly for your tour. Prepare to be outside in unpredictable weather for your dog sled ride. Required gear: a warm jacket, hat, scarf, mittens, snow pants (recommended), and warm footwear. We have additional winter gear for our guests to use as needed.

It is about 15 minutes only which was a little disappointing but the guide and the rest of their staff provided excellent customer service

We loved our 2-mile dog sled run with Josi and 8 of her atheletic dogs! We were whisked down the snowy path fueled by her amazing canine pack and loved hearing stories from her about her 2024 Iditarod race where she won the Rookie of the race award running with 5 of the same dogs that were pulling our sled that day! We took a short break at the half-way point on our ride and switched places in the sled so we both had a chance to be in the front as well as the back. We had a lot of fun and loved seeing the dogs in action doing what they love while we also enjoyed the beautiful snowy scenery!

Wow what a fun experience! We learned so much from our guide about the dogs and mushing. The extra coats and gear provided were appreciated. Highly recommended to do. Especially with Trailbreaker Kennel.
