The Maui Afternoon Snorkel Tour is ideal for those that seek a less congested snorkeling experience. We snorkel & slide at the Coral Gardens, a large shallow reef with abundant sea life off the coast of Maui. Snorkel, swim with turtles, and then enjoy our fast 25 foot (7 meter) waterslide. Whale watching, when humpback whales are present January - March, is free while underway to and from our snorkel location. Weather conditions may lead us to snorkel at other coral reefs in the area, such as Turtle Town or the Molokini Crater. It is important to note that we do not deploy our waterslide within the Molokini Crater.

5.00We went on the snorkeling tour with captain Paul. He was a naturally funny and laid back guy. You could tell he really enjoyed his work which makes the experience great for you as well. The whole crew was great and helped us to have a fantastic time. Along with snorkeling and seeing a bunch of different kinds of fish and a sea turtle, we also got to go for a ride along the coast of the island. Captain Paul also told us history about the island and also some cool stuff about the different islands of Hawaii. He also shared some interesting insights on the whales. They also provided lunch which was nice. Another unique thing about this tour was that they had the slide which was fun. They also had a photographer who was on board and went out in the water with us. If you wanted to you had the option to buy photos from him which he took of you in the water but there was no pressure if you didn’t want to. Overall it was a great experience and I thought it was a good deal for the amount of time we were out on the water and that we also were provided with a meal.

5.00This was a great experience. The weather was terrible, but the crew made it happen for our group. We got to snorkle twice and we saw at least one turtle both times. The staff was extremely helpful and very nice. We definitely recommend doing this.

1.00Wouldn’t recommend the tour. They simply highlight Molokini crater as one of the spots but we never went there. Even the other spots that they took us were really bad , all I could see was lots of sand when I was snorkeling. Forget turtles, couldn’t even spot any fishes. The spot was so close to the shore that we could see traffic on road from the boat. The “fun” part I guess was the slide and no way is it worth $150. I was not comfortable that day in the water and I asked for a life jacket to be safe which they are obviously supposed to have. I also specifically asked them before the tour. But the host asked me to use some other floating tube which clearly had markings saying not a floatation device. After I refused to go to water without life jacket and lot of back and forth, the host gave me the life jacket. I mean this was just a simple life jacket request and not something crazy out of the ordinary that I asked here. It shouldn’t have to be like this. Very bad experience and totally not worth it.

5.00This was a wonderful tour! The crew were all amazing and extremely knowledgeable. We got local recommendations from one of the crew members which was very kind. The snorkeling sights were awesome. We saw plenty of fish, sea turtles and the beautiful reef under clear blue waters. The waterslide was fun and the food was good! The boat rides in and out of the harbor were smooth and beautiful sights. Thank you!!

5.00The crew was so amazing and supportive. The boat driver, Greg I think, was so funny and made me and my friends laugh the whole time. The slide was really fun too. Got to see some pretty fish and a turtle.

5.00The trip was amazing. It was an extremely windy day, so the slide didn't get to come out but the captain let my autistic son drive the boat. They were great teaching him how to snorkel and encouraging him to jump off the boat! We had a group of nine and all of us had an amazing time. Highly recommend this adventure!
