El Yunque National Forest
We visit the Eastside of El Yunque Rainforest. Our adventure starts with a 30 minute hike (the path can be muddy) to the first mineral water, natural water pool. There you can enjoy the landscape, swim in the water and live in nature. Along the way you will learn of the bio diverse ecosystem of the rainforest, touch bamboo, unique flora, guava trees and 300 year old trees. Further up after a 15 minute hike, a little rocky there is another watering hole with natural waterfalls. NOTE : Saturday tour take a different route and require participants to be in good physical condition. This route is great for people in shape ready for a more steep and muddy adventure. If this is not for you, we encourage to book with us on any other day of the week. We are featured in Kayak Travel guide for San Juan.

Paul and partner were great! They were patient, informative and fun. I was with my 14 year old and she loved it.

Stephanie was an incredible guide who taught us about native foliage as we trekked through the rainforest to the river. Along the way she was very helpful and took pictures for us. We loved the slide and enjoyed the cliff diving and rope swinging as well. Such a great experience for our family and 2 kids.

We had a fantastic time! More fun than we even expected! There were lots of guides (not just your own) to help and we always felt safe. Good to know - the pickup and drop off in Old San Juan are the earliest (6:30) and from a plaza, not your accommodation. That being said, we were glad we woke up early to beat the crowds.

This is a great excursion. Beautiful scenery, fun waterfalls and great exercise! It is a hike not for beginners. I recommend you wear Tevas, not sneakers.

Rainforest water activities invigorating and physically demanding. One of the two guides should have been in the water to help - one customer in our group called out for help when she came off ‘the slide.” No bathroom available upon arrival after a 1 hour+ drive. Speed while driving on winding roads on way to and from seemed excessive / scary at times.
