A Thoughtful and Enjoyable Montserrat Tour

5.00The tour was a great experience overall, made even better by our guide, Nestor, who was very kind and attentive. I didn’t have cash to buy a candle to light at Montserrat, and Nestor kindly bought one for me. He also went out of his way to buy a small souvenir for everyone on the tour, which was a really thoughtful gesture. The afternoon tour included entrance to the Basilica and the Black Madonna, which was excellent. However, the free time was limited to about an hour, which wasn’t quite enough to explore other activities such as the museum or the funicular. Overall, it was a good tour with a knowledgeable and generous guide, and I would recommend it—especially for those who want a well-organized visit with a great guide.

5.00Nearly 4 perfect hours with free time to enjoy Montserrat. Nestor was an excellent guide. Small group of 7 in a comfy minivan, full of history and details. Thank you Tours and the City, clearly one of our favorite brand (we will comeback)!

5.00If you are visiting Barcelona, Montserrat is an absolute must. While you can go on your own, I highly recommend booking a guided tour. Our guide was amazing and incredibly knowledgeable, hearing the whole story and the history behind the monastery made the visit so much more meaningful. The guide’s energy really made the group enjoy every minute. The group was small, less than 10 people, so it was easy to follow and felt very personalised. The views are absolutely insane! Pictures don’t do it justice. 10/10 worth it!
