Snowmobile experience in Romania ?

Being a private tour, we will determine the departure time together, the pick-up and drop-off being at the location mentioned by you, hotel or apartment. The attractions of the day will be the panoramic tour of Peles Palace, the former summer residence of the Romanian royal family, the snowmobile ride in the dense forests covered with snow between 1 to 3 hours according to your wish and the cable car till the top of the mountains. During the ride, you will stop for a break to enjoy a hot drink and to take as many pictures as you want to remember this day. Since you have booked a private tour, the program is flexible and we will adapt to your needs and requirements. The tour program and itinerary can be changed due to factors beyond our control as traffic jams, car accidents or bad weather conditions.

In order to rent the snowmobile you need to bring the passport.

The activity usually starts from december till end of march according to the amount of snow on the track.

You should bring/wear warm clothes and gloves for the snowmobile ride.

If the snow on the track is not enough for the snowmobile ride, there is the option to ride an ATV or Buggy.

Our driver was very patient and nice. He was very informative throughout the whole ride. We would definitely recommend anyone booking with him and this excursion as it had some beautiful views.

Petre our guide was awesome.. due to issues with our 3 castle tour 2 days before we didn’t get to see the Wednesday castle however as the snowmobiles were near by we asked if he would take us there after the snowmobiles, he was more than happy to help and didn’t ask for any extra. He was so helpful and chatted with us on the journey (and it was a very long journey due to a car accident the 2 hour journey turned into 5 🙈) obviously this was not his fault and out of his control but he talked about history of Romania and Bucharest all the way to make the journey so much more enjoyable and time soon went.. He was also helpful with the snowmobiles advising us and also sorted the Wednesday castle tickets for us.. Overall 100% recommend this tour and guide.. he had a lovely comfortable Mercedes people carries.. Such a super person.. thank you Petre.. we were very lucky it was also snowing and the views were beautiful.. well worth doing..
