Here is included the time it takes to pick up all the passengers and the trip to bayahibe, where the tour will start.
The largest Natural Pool in the Caribbean Before arriving on the island, we will make a mandatory stop at the famous Palmilla Natural Pool. A sandbank in the middle of the sea where water only reaches your waist. Here we will drink Dominican rum and you can watch (without touching!) the famous giant starfish.

5.00Fab day, early start, but worth it. Lovely guide Eduardo. Fun catamaran cruise . Plenty of drinks and dancing. Going VIP means lobster, 😋. Only downside, no mention of how wet you can get on the speed boat ride back. 😃 🤣

5.00We did the tour to Saône Island today, and had a great time. They looked for us on schedule, varied and delicious food! Attention was literally vip, a waiter waiting for us all the time, the staff of the boat very good vibe, we came dancing back, very lively everything. Thanks Guido for the day you made us enjoy

5.00very fun I found this walk with the travel agency... they looked for me for the impressive in time we agreed, and took us to bayhibe to take the speedboat and reach the beautiful and beautiful island saona, I loved it. I met people from many countries, rich food, savory drinks.

5.00We travelled on the 15th December 2024. We booked the semi private tour which meant you were travelling less as you didn’t need to go to resort to resort picking up passengers. We were a couple and was joined by two other couples from the next resort Our driver and tour guide Vacky was excellent. His English is spot on and his knowledge is great. Also an awesome driver on those mad roads :) The tour starts at Bayahibe beach/port where we boarded the speed boat, this boat ride was excellent, zipping past all the other crafts on the way to the island. First stop was at the filming location of one of the pirate of Caribbean movies (don’t know which as I’ve not seen them) then onto the shallow lagoon area where we leaped off the boat and lounged about in the warm sea. Drinks also served at this point, here we saw Star fish. Then onto Saona Island. We arrived there at speed and was greeted my ladies offering free massage, we didn’t take these up and as we know nothing is free We were then served lunch which was really nice, pesky bugs annoyed us whilst eating but nothing can be done about that. Just a note for the tic tokers amongst you the part of the island that is seen in the tictok videos is not the part where you are taken However it’s still a gorgeous beach area, we were there for around two hours of free time. After that back into the boat and again off at speed to a snorkelling location. Equipment is provided and in we jumped. The captain threw fish food in and with a minute there was a large school of fish. 30 minuets of snorting was enough. More drinks served and then off back to the shallow lagoon once more. Not really sure why we came back but nonetheless it’s still a lovely spot. Anytime you wanted a drink alcohol or soft drink Vacky was on hand All in all a great day, Vacky is awesome and the speed boat captain was excellent One thing to note is always barter your price. Everyone is offering different prices so make sure you get the best deal. Also if you can afford it book semi private or even private as it saves you hours on your day travelling
