Anstruther Harbour

We loved this tour! It was a wonderful way to see and learn about some of the surrounding areas of Edinburgh. The small group was perfect for us. The bus was comfortable. The tour guide very funny and knowledgeable. We highly recommend it!

I loved the way our guide Steven packed scottish history into dramatic and entertaining stories. Steven also gave us a detailed overview and showed us the villages/city by car before we had time to explore. That was a great help because we could decide better what we exactly wanted to do during our freetime.

The guides were great! Andrew was our guide, and Shawn was our driver and they both added so much to this tour! They both had a great sense of humor, which made all the information we learned so much more fun! Andrew taught us a lot about Scotland’s history and current events. It was super interesting. We first stopped at a viewing location for some bridges. Then we went to a coastal village for a half hour to stretch our legs/ use restrooms if needed. Next it was on to st. Andrews. We walked all around the town, got lunch, and saw the golf course. Andrew had some nice food recommendations for us. We spent about 3 hours there, and then stopped in one more city on the way home. Finally we stopped to see the bridges one more time and then went home. It was a fun day and an easy way to see St. Andrew without dealing with travel logistics ourselves.

A great day trip in terrible weather. An excellent way to see the Scottish costal countryside. Our Guide Lin was good but difficult to comprehend. The driver Stewart, on the on the other hand was great whenever he chipped in. Overall a great trip, despite terrible weather

Truth be told that apart from 30 mins in Anstruther we didnt really see a lot of the fishing villages of Fife as the day was heavily weighted in favour of St Andrews. Having said that, St Andrews was lovely and the beaches there were great even in January.

Sorry for the late review... Do wish I could have written it earlier when I recalled every minute of this lovely trip. We took this trip to St Andrews and the Fishing villages of Fife on the 12th of April 2025 from Edinburugh and we thoroughly enjoyed the tour. We loved walking around St Andrews, and seeing the castle, the cathedral, the golf course... Our guide was lovely, but sorry can't be sure of his name. (Was it Andrew?). He made the drive interesting with stories and music. Thank you for making our day special.

Tour guide was great, lots of history and jokes, and attentive. Instructions were clear too. (Only suggestion for improvement to organizers - but that was with all tours I took, not just this one: if due to holidays certain attractions cannot be realized, guests should be advised ahead of time).
