This tour in Ryogoku surprised me in the best way. It gave a closer look at sumo life and the atmosphere around the stables, which felt very genuine and not touristy. The garden stop was a nice breather, and the food tasting made the experience feel complete 🍱. It’s a great choice if you want something cultural and a bit off the usual Tokyo itinerary. Worth it! 👍

The tour provided a good overview of the Ryogoku area, including sumo-related spots, local gardens, and food tastings. The guide shared helpful information about sumo culture and history, and the pacing was relaxed. The chanko nabe tasting added a nice touch to the experience. Overall, it’s a solid option for travelers interested in learning about the sumo district and trying local flavors without rushing.

My legs are tired but my heart (and stomach) is so full! If you think this area is only for sports fans, you’re missing out. The whole area feels like a time capsule. One minute you’re at Ryogoku Station surrounded by sumo posters, and the next you’re tucked away in the Former Yasuda Garden—which is low-key one of the most Instagrammable spots in Tokyo. 📸 Perfect for anyone who wants a "local" feel. It’s not flashy, but it’s super authentic and packs a lot of culture into just a few hours. 100% worth the steps! 🙌

If you want to feel the "Old Tokyo" vibes without the massive crowds of Asakusa, this Ryogoku walking tour is a must! A fantastic way to spend a morning. It’s educational but doesn't feel like a history lecture—more like a stroll through a living museum. It’s the perfect mix of sumo culture, samurai history, and local hidden gems. 10/10 would do it again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Joined the tour in Ryogoku and really enjoyed it! 😊 Learned a lot about sumo culture, saw the neighborhood around the stables, and got a taste of local food — the chanko nabe was a highlight 🍲. The mix of cultural spots and peaceful gardens made it feel unique and not rushed. Overall, a fun and authentic experience that shows a different side of Tokyo. Would recommend!
