This activity is perfect for who has no problems with stairs. Our classroom is on the third floor in the Japanese traditional building with only stairs.

This experience is led by a friendly English speaking host as well as a skilled sushi master. The classroom is a classic Japanese style, located in a hidden local building in the Tsukiji market. Firstly, you'll watch the fish disassembly show by the pro sushi chef, getting know the several steps how to prepare fish for sushi. They will explain about Japanese knives. Next, you'll learn about what exact sushi is and proper steps making nigiri sushi and rolled type. The sushi master will teach you all you need to know, helping you step by step. Proper sushi making utensils and tableware are provided by local shops. In the tasty part, you will enjoy your sushi! While you eat your own, the sushi master will prepare another and with expertly prepared wasabi as fresh as can be.

5.00We had an amazing time with our sushi chef, translator, and other helpful staff. We learned about the history of sushi making and had a fun and enjoyable experience learning how to make our own sushi. This was a very hands on experience with assistance when needed from the chef. Would definitely do this again in the future.

5.00We did this experience and loved all the education and personal touches. We got to make and take a picture of our completed sushi! The space was intimate and good for small groups and the English speaking leader was easy to understand. We appreciated the knowledge of the chef and had a great time!
