This was a really cool experience. The only thing is that we had trouble finding it so I messaged, called, and emailed the contact person and never got a response. We finally found it, but 10 minutes late into the tour so we missed a dessert and one of the teas which was pretty disappointing. Other than that, it was tasty and really interesting to learn about the history.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at the tea ceremony! It was such a beautiful and calming experience from start to finish. We learned so much about matcha, tea, and the philosophy of Chado — and left with a whole new appreciation for the art behind it. Our instructor was incredibly kind, welcoming, and a joy to talk with. The tea room itself was serene and beautifully simple, setting the perfect atmosphere. Watching our instructor’s graceful, deliberate movements during the ceremony was almost hypnotic — every motion felt meaningful. The tea and matcha were some of the best we’ve ever had, and we left feeling peaceful and inspired. I’d highly recommend this experience to anyone who loves tea, matcha, or simply wants to immerse themselves in something truly authentic and special.

We all really enjoyed the ceremony. It was maybe a bit more educational then I expected, but it was still a great experience.

An excellent experience, the instructor speaks English so it is easy to follow, the whole ceremony itself is a moment of relaxation and learning worth performing. Fully recommended if you are in Tokyo.

Mika was an excellent host who is clearly extremely knowledgeable. The entire 90minute experience was well planned. Very informative. The information we received during this experience added to our understanding of items we saw related to Japan tea ceremonies in museums and elsewhere.

This experience was one of the best in my life. We learned the ancient art of the tea ceremony: the history and the meditative practices. Besides watching we also participated and were treated to authentic Japanese snacks.
