We have moved to a new location! We are now located at 820 Olowalu Village Rd, next to the Olowalu General Store on the way to Lahaina!
We are the oldest butterfly farm in Hawaii and the only one that offers private tours of a butterfly farm in the State. We are a certified Monarch Waystation and strive to save the butterflies through propagation, research and education. We’re the only place in the Islands to see live Hawaiian butterflies in our walk in butterfly flight house. Unlike Mainland butterfly farms, all of our butterflies are home bred and hand raised on our organic farm. We do not purchase or ship in our butterflies from abroad, therefore all of our butterflies are endemic to Hawaii.

5.00This is a small local butterfly farm working to increase the local pollinators in Maui. The business is on the outskirts of Lāhaina and is next to a local pie shop called Leoda’s. Both are a worthwhile visit.

5.00This is a short tour, but worth the money. We got to learn more about the butterfly life cycle, and hold and feed caterpillars and butterflies. The experience really enriched our day. The tour guide was super informative and enthusiastic about her job. It was a pleasure to be there 🌱🦋

5.00The butterfly farmer made all ages feel involved. She was warm and enthusiastic ! It was an interactive tour. We handled caterpillars, butterflies and praying mantis. It was very educational but in a fun way for seniors to children. We had a blast and took some amazing videos and pictures!

5.00This was a delightful morning spent learning about and interacting with butterflies and a praying mantis. We were able to hold the caterpillars, feed the butterflies and spend time in roomy screened enclosures just watching these ephemeral creatures! There were kids on the tour that seemed to be loving the very mellow experience. Seems like a nice family activity. Getting there was easy from Wailea and so beautiful driving along a road close enough to the ocean you could practically jump in! And, right next door was an old fashioned general store with everything from souvenirs to snacks and fishing essentials! Also next door was Leoda’s Restaurant. I had the key lime pie and highly recommend it!
