This location offers the same popular Waffles ’n Beer experience, just 1 minute from underground car parking 't Zand. Ideal for groups (up to 20 people) like bachelor parties, birthdays, families, and team buildings, in a beautiful spot by the water.

This unique experience combines the rich flavors of Belgian beer with the art of waffle making in a hands-on, interactive session.

Participants not only enjoy a curated beer tasting, selecting a brew to infuse into their waffle batter, but also engage in a personalized waffle baking class. The fusion of beer and waffle creation, coupled with expert guidance, offers a distinctive culinary adventure.

The finale, a self-indulgent feast of freshly baked Brussels waffles paired with chosen toppings and beer, ensures a memorable and delicious experience. Participants leave not only with a satisfied palate but also with the knowledge to recreate this extraordinary pairing at home, making it a one-of-a-kind gastronomic journey.

We only serve alcoholic drinks for participants of 18 years old and above. Minor participants below 18 years old will be served non-alcoholic drinks.

Children (<16 years) should be accompanied by an adult on a 1:1 basis.

The workshop is in English as people from all over the world participate. Our hosts can translate some parts if necessary.

1) Belgian beer tasting: At first, we will have a beer tasting experience. You will taste 3 different kinds of Belgian beers and we provide some interesting background information about the beer. Out of these beers you will have to choose one that will be added to the waffle batter. 2) Belgian/Brussels Waffle baking class: Afterwards everyone will get behind a cooking station (2 persons per station) and will learn how to make his/her own waffle batter with beer. We will take you step by step through the process of making the waffle batter. 3) Food pairing and tasting: In the end you can bake your own Brussels waffles and enjoy them with the according topping and the beer you chose in the beginning of the experience. You can bake/eat as much waffles as you want. In the end you will receive the recipe so you can take our expertise back home with you.

I booked this as a fun addition to my solo trip! I am so glad I did and really was a highlight of my trip to Bruges! I felt really included and ended up being with a large group of people that were great vibe and really lots of fun! The host was great and knew plenty of interesting facts about Bruges and its beer, she even gave some tips whilst visiting which I also did whilst I was there. Waffles, beer and a great time! What more could you ask for. Just book it 😀🧇

An incredibly fun workshop, definitely worth it! You get to taste three delicious beers and learn about their origins, followed by a step-by-step guide on how to make and bake your own waffle batter. Any waffles you can’t finish, you can take back home or to your hotel. The host is very friendly and conducts the workshop in English, but also speaks other languages. You also get to keep your apron and receive a fun certificate as a keepsake.

If you're in Bruges and craving a fun and yummy activity, Waffles n Beer is a must-visit. The place has a laid-back vibe, perfect for enjoying a fun workshop without the touristy rush. They also have a great selection of local beers which you get to incorporate in the waffles. The hosts were really friendly and happy to answer all of our questions. Overall, I highly recommend this experience if you have some free time in Bruges :)

It was a great experience. I made friends, made extra waffles for breakfast, learned about Brugge and got free beer by the end. The host was amazing, he was funny and very friendly. The area is very at the center, and so it was easy to go to the hotel back!

An absolutely fun experience . Pete our host and bang up Waffle Wizard and Belgium Beer Aficionado made it a don't miss activity.We tried out several delicious ice cold beers with genuine laughter and some tidbits of history . Plus I now will be making perfect Brussels waffles .My husband who had no desire to join me in this activity had the most fun , which says everything:)

Beer and Waffles, what more can you say? It was a very fun experience with friends to learn more about certain local beers and to learn how to make waffles. Yes, you get to drink/sample local beers and yes, you will, from scratch, make waffle batter and then cook and eat the waffles you created. The staff is most helpful and if you are not careful, you will have a good time and learn some local history on a variety of subjects.
