Lake Ashi, a serene lake surrounded by mountains, is the iconic symbol of Hakone. It was formed around 3,000 years ago following an eruption of Mt. Kami. Thanks to its volcanic springs, Lake Ashi never freezes in winter. The lake offers stunning views of Mt. Fuji, which are well-known and celebrated. Visitors can enjoy the Hakone Sightseeing Cruise while taking in the beautiful scenery!
Cross Lake Ashi on the Hakone Sightseeing Cruise, inspired by European battleships, enjoy your short trip on the lake, and take in the stunning natural beauty surrounding the lake. On clear days, you can view Mt. Fuji in the distance, while the bright red torii gate of Hakone Shrine can be seen from the deck, creating a memorable sight. 5.00The bus was very comfortable and our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. We knew where we needed to be before we arrived at the meeting point and all the way through the day. Even with it cloudy and rainy, it was a great experience.

3.00The day seemed to lack focus - we didn’t feel as though we knew why we were going to certain sites. Our guide was friendly but her knowledge about the different sites did not come through. We learned more on the way home!

3.00Jimmy was a nice guy but not a great guide. He started the tour apologizing he does not speak great English, so why is he leading an English tour? He did the best he could with information and details, but it's obvious he's not comfortable with English tours. The driver's driving was rough, he put on breaks hard several times, and almost got into a collision. The actual tour was okay, you got to see some cool areas in Japan outside of the city lights.
