5.00OMG YOHEI さな was the best! We would come back to Japan to have another bar hopping night with him. It was like hanging out with a friend. He showed us genuine local places, we went at our own pace, he took heaps of photos and even did vlogs with us, and taught us Japanese! We already knew a bit which helped and made good conversation. He was the best friend, best teacher, and best guide all in one. Thoroughly enjoyable conversation, he was funny and confident. I hope you see this review and choose to go with him. Thank you! 5.00Yohei is an amazing guide, we had an excellent time! He is a great teacher and makes learning fun while you explore Tokyo. He made sure to take us places were weren't already going to visit. You get to explore parts of Tokyo you could easily miss but you will be happy you went. I highly recommend taking a tour with Yohei!!!

5.00What a great experience with our host Yohei! We wanted to experience nightlife in Tokyo but wanted to know we were going to the right spots for our group. Yohei delivered and found us a great spot, made the reservation and helped us navigate the menu. Keep in mind many of these places are very small so it was perfect for our group of 4. Yohei is easy to talk to and is really eager to make sure to cater to the experience you are looking for. He was considerate considering we were travelling by train, met us at the station and then made sure that we knew when the last trains were leaving so that we didn’t miss it. I would definitely recommend his tours.

5.00Yohei was such an amazing tour guide! He took us to very fun and niche restaurants and bars, and he catered to all of our various interests. He was extremely friendly, warm, and inviting. He even studied the specific history of the neighborhood that we were staying in, so that he could share fun facts with us. I really appreciated his time and his energy, and I highly recommend this tour! Thank you so much, Yohei!

He's helped me personally improve my Japanese, which is a huge bonus for anyone interested in the language-- whether you're a beginner or more advanced. From the very start, he was easy to talk to, full of energy, and incredibly knowledgeable about Tokyo. I'm already looking forward to meeting up with him again on my next visit. Highly recommend this tour!

5.00I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants a more personalized, authentic experience in Tokyo! Prior to the tour, Yohei asked about my food preferences (no pork, limited alcohol) and catered the tour to it. We ended up at the Kabukicho area, a place I never would have bothered to go, and got to this cool, lively street with lots of locals. We had some delicious yakitori from the Japanese menu (often more selections than English). Yohei is great to converse with—-he’s fluent in English and taught me some common Japanese words for travelers. This was the best experience I had in Japan and I highly recommend!!!

5.00I had been taking survival Japanese lessons with Yohei for several months before visiting Japan in September 2025. We often discussed how fun it would be to meet up while I was there visiting. We finally managed to find some time to do so and it ended up being one of the best nights of the trip. Yohei showed us around Asakusa in the evening before we did some bar hopping, and then finished the night off at a karaoke bar. We wanted to experience a night in some more local areas and that’s exactly what we did, which was extremely refreshing. Yohei brought the energy all night and left us with a memory that we will treasure and continue to bring up to friends and family. 10/10, can’t wait to to go back and do it all again.
