3.00My wife and I booked the full-day private tour (by car) in Tokyo. It was our first day in the city, and we wanted to use the tour as a way of seeing many of the popular tourist sites, while also learning a bit about the city, the lay of the land, and maybe even some japanese customs/etiquette. If I'm being honest, we accomplished some of that, but not all of it, on this tour. Our tour guide Asi was very nice, a great driver, and was very flexible/patient with us. We started the day by telling him all of the things we wanted to do, and he quickly organized the day's itinerary while leaving room for improvising. His minivan was very luxurious, clean, and the AC worked great! That was super important in the summer. I will say, many people suggested we do a walking tour instead of by car, due mostly to the traffic in Tokyo. That really wasn't an issue for us, despite traveling all over the city; so we were very happy with the decision to have a car, as it provided a great reprieve from the blistering heat in between each site. And we did get to see everything we wanted to, which I don't think would've been possible if we were walking and using public transportation. So overall, it was a successful tour, but we do wish we had received a little more from Asi as a guide. He was very quiet when we were in the van, and it felt like it was on us to ask questions. Which in fairness, he always answered when we did. However, we didn't receive as much of the knowledge that we were looking for on the tour. He was more of a driver than a guide, and we just want to prepare you for that if Asi is your guide.

5.00We had an incredible time on this tour! Our guide, Wendell, ensured that we had the best possible experience. He was incredibly polite, knowledgeable, and possessed professional photography skills. As a result, we were able to see all the places we had wanted to visit. We now have numerous pictures to share with our friends and family. I highly recommend this tour, and you’ll be fortunate if Wendell is your tour guide!

5.00Lookman was an excellent guide. He was very friendly and helpful. He was punctual and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a private guided tour and driver. P.S. Lookman speaks fluent English.
