However the main Tsukiji Market was replaced in 2018 by the Toyosu Market, the outer market at Tsukiji remains. There are still various restaurants and shops containing numerous interesting items. (Some shops and restaurants are closed on Sundays,Wednesdays, and national holidays)

Hama Rikyu Gardens

The garden has served many purposes over the centuries. It was originally built as a feudal lord's Tokyo residence and duck hunting grounds between the 17th and 19th centuries. And then it became a garden and an imperial detached palace before eventually being opened to the public in its current form. It is located close to Tsukiji outer market. You can enjoy seasonal flowers and green spaces with seawater ponds.

We needed something very bespoke and Outech delivered. Tomoya was a sensational guide. He made excellent suggestions so we could see the things we wanted to see and make the most of the limited time we had.

I arranged the private tour for our family, one member being a stubborn senior citizen. Our driver, Soya, picked us up and was able to bring a wheelchair for us to use. He lead us at each site, accompanying the our oldie-but-goodie in her wheelchair. We saw sites that we would not have seen without help. He arranged a lunch for us, a private room to fit the 8 of us and helped us with restricted diets. He was patient, very accommodating and all-around fun to talk to. And lastly, we were able to have pictures with all of us in it. Thank you Soya and Outech! My tours with Outech have been consistently exceptional!
Riley made our 1st trip to Japan an unforgettable and memorable experience. We learned so much!

Riley made our first trip to Japan an incredible and memorable experience. She has impeccable English speaking skills, is knowledgeable about the history of Japan and helped us to customize a phenomenal itinerary for Tokyo, Mount Fuji and Hakone on two full days that we visited the country. Riley was extremely flexible and accommodating, she was patient and answered all the questions that we had. We always felt safe as she drove around the busy busy, busy city of Tokyo and outline region. The van that we rode in had luxurious captain chairs that reclined and even had footstools for our sore feet after walking around. The price for this tour was very fair given all of the flexibilityand customizing we could do to our itinerary. We would never ever have been able to see so much in just two days and also nowhere to go as first timers to Japan. Riley made us feel very comfortable and we were sad to depart from her at the end of the days. we’ve been on other tours when that has not been the case and we were anxious to depart. Not this one we can’t wait to come back and we’ll work with outech and Riley again in the future.
1st time in Japan and our tours with Riley were 5/5 stars!!

The company that took us is called Outech and Riley was our guide. She was the sweetest kindest and most accommodating and flexible person we could have wished for. She was incredible at communicating in English and reached out immediately to plan a customized itinerary for the things that we wanted to see Around Tokyo. The van that we used was luxurious with captains chairs that reclined for comfort and a stool to put your feet up after walking around the city. I can’t speak highly enough about Riley. Riley did the tour for us on our first full day in Tokyo. We had such an amazing time that we booked her for our very last day to visit Mt Fuji and Hakone. Same 5 star experience. She supplied water, snacks, was incredibly flexible and patient and even made sure that she marked a map of Tokyo and region with all the places we had visited so that we could return should we want to. She wasn’t just very highly proficient at English. She also had a lot of knowledge about the history of Japan and taught us a lot about the different things that we saw and the Japanese culture. 5/5 stars!!
Tokyo Day Trip to Hakone, Odawara, Kamakura and inside Tokyo

Our MESM Hotel Star Embassy Team organized this amazing daytrip with Outech and their Chauffeur/Guide "Roberto" Masaaki Ichimura. Roberto was able to expertly and safely navigate us to Hakone Owakundani Station for views of Mount Fuji, the Sulfur Springs and of course to eat kuro-tamago (black eggs). From there, Roberto placed us on the Hakone Ropeway down to Togendai Station. Next, he met us at Togendai to move us onto the Pirate Ship across Lake Ashi. From there, he took us to explore Odawara Castle Tower, Samurai and Ninja Halls. Onto a beautiful drive along the coast line to Kamakara. Once there, he took us into the Kotoku-in (Great Buddha) and the Hasedera Temple. And, he found a nice lunch in Kamakura. He returned us into Tokyo with time to walk and observe the Shibuya Crossing, visit the lit-up Tokyo Tower, drive through the Ginza District and more! Beyond driving, Roberto provided historical and modern background information. He even took photos of us at key places. We are grateful to our Chauffeur/Guide Roberto and the MESM Hotel Star Embassy Team who made the arrangements.

Very flexible but equally Tomoya came up with the right suggestions to fill our knowledge gaps. We had a great day out and we visited places that we would not have been able to visit without the wealth of knowledge. The limo is super comfortable and has aircon and water. Highly recommended!

The drivers (Miku, Yu, and Tak) were so nice! It was lovely talking to them, and they really made the trip lovely and memorable! They knew English so well, and were super helpful!

We had an incredible private tour in Tokyo with our guide Richie. He was an excellent communicator, tailoring the tour perfectly to our interests. Richie took us to hidden local spots for delicious, well-priced meals and gave us an authentic taste of Tokyo. Friendly, professional, and highly knowledgeable — we couldn’t have asked for a better guide. Highly recommended!
