5.00This company was very communicative and on top of every detail! As soon as we registered for our transfer from Narita to downtown Tokyo, we received a welcome text confirming the basics of date, time, and place and telling us we’d get more details the day before the pickup. Sure enough, we received prompt instructions on what to do and where to wait for our driver. Mr. Suda picked us up within 3 minutes of reaching the designated spot. He was an excellent driver and very polite and helpful. I’d recommend this car service to anyone needing to drive from Narita to their hotel.

5.00After a long trip, the last thing we wanted to do as a family of four was lug our suitcases and backpacks and bags all throughout the subway system to get to Narita airport. This was so worth the money. Driver was friendly and a few minutes early. He was patient as we loaded up the van - he verified our destination and we were on our way. Delivery right to our airline terminal.

It was very easy to find once she picked up her luggage, and the driver was there on time to take her safely to her destination. 2.00I had a very unpleasant experience. I landed at 5:08 pm and by 6 pm, my driver started telling me about the overtime surcharges. It was an international arrival and we kept waiting in lines just to get through immigration and customs. Perhaps, Viator should start the 90 minute wait time 1 hour after landing. I felt rushed the whole time. When we finally got out, I found the driver sleeping his driver seat. I felt bad so I said hello and thanked him for waiting. He grudgingly got up and out of the car and did not respond at all. The awkward silence continued throughout the ride except when he confirmed the hotel with me. No greetings whatsoever. Was he mad that he had to wait for us? It was clear to us that he was. I almost was compelled to apologize but then again, what have I done wrong? This was very surprising because this is our third time in Japan and never have I seen such low quality customer service. I am not sure if I will book a private transfer again.
