5.00My daughter was traveling to Japan for the first time on her own, so I booked this car service for her. It was very easy to find once she picked up her luggage, and the driver was there on time to take her safely to her destination. The company also communicated all the details with her in advance, which gave us great peace of mind. I would definitely use this car service again and highly recommend them.

2.00I had a very unpleasant experience. I landed at 5:08 pm and by 6 pm, my driver started telling me about the overtime surcharges. It was an international arrival and we kept waiting in lines just to get through immigration and customs. Perhaps, Viator should start the 90 minute wait time 1 hour after landing. I felt rushed the whole time. When we finally got out, I found the driver sleeping his driver seat. I felt bad so I said hello and thanked him for waiting. He grudgingly got up and out of the car and did not respond at all. The awkward silence continued throughout the ride except when he confirmed the hotel with me. No greetings whatsoever. Was he mad that he had to wait for us? It was clear to us that he was. I almost was compelled to apologize but then again, what have I done wrong? This was very surprising because this is our third time in Japan and never have I seen such low quality customer service. I am not sure if I will book a private transfer again.

5.00Super easy booking and great communication. Our flight ended up being delayed by two hours, and it wasn’t a problem at all. We communicated through WhatsApp, so everyone was current on the timing, and things went extremely smoothly.
