Join us for a bar hopping tour in the unique and vibrant Shinjuku area! Our team will ensure you have the best night possible!
During the bar hopping tour, we'll visit Omoide Yokocho, Kabukicho, and Golden Gai, taking you to hidden izakayas and bars that only locals know.
The tour starts in the red lantern-adorned local izakaya area of Omoide Yokocho or the bustling district of Kabukicho.
Next, we'll head to Kabukicho, Japan's largest neon-lit entertainment district.
Afterward, we'll visit the Golden Gai area. As we have connections to bars that don't accept general customers, our tour will grant you access to these hidden gems.
We generally go to the places mentioned above, but there may be times when we can't go to bars or izakayas due to circumstances. If you're worried about it, feel free to ask in advance, and we'll provide the locations for the day.

What a great experience to sample the Tokyo nightlife! Shota was an excellent guide and made sure we had a great time, with drinks, food, Sake tasting (own expense) and some Karaoke! I met some great people, had a really good laugh and we kept the night going after the tour officially ended. I highly recommend this tour, even the terrible weather didn’t dampen our spirits!!

OK so while this was enjoyable and our host and the tourists were lovely, I didn't feel like it was worth the money, hence the 3-star rating. I'm a bit older so I guess if you just want to get trashed and do karaoke this would be great, but I was hoping to learn something about the area / culture as well. We went to three places that I didn't find that special, so I'm not sure what the point of paying for the tour was, rather than say, just going to any izikaya in the area yourself. Other things that lost points were the lack of time to eat properly at the only place that served food, which meant I only ate 3 small yakitori skewers before drinking a lot of saki; the places we went were quite run down, and the final karaoke bar had no prices on the menu for "all you can drink". When I checked how much a beer would be, I was informed it was 3000 ¥ which is a bit much as I knew I wasn't staying long. Also be aware that smoking is very much allowed in some of the venues. As an ex smoker that doesn't bother me too much but I could do without my clothes smelling until I have time to get to a laundry. I'm writing this as I think a lot of the 5-star reviews are written on the night when much booze has been drank, so I wanted to give a better impression of what to expect. If you want a bit more than a glorified piss up, I'd say it's worth paying for the more expensive food tours and giving this one a miss.

The bar crawl with Rika was fantastic! 10 out of 10 experience for sure. Whether you drink or not, this is a fun experience. Good food, great laughs, and having an opportunity to be guided through a bit of Japanese history and cultural experiences from an awesome local made my night with my best friend a great one. I look forward to doing it again during my next trip to Japan. Thanks Rika, keep doing great work.

This was such a fun experience and a great way to explore spots around Shinjuku! We started at a cozy yakitori place for skewers and drinks, then headed to a bar specializing in different kinds of sake. To wrap up the night, we went to a private karaoke bar and kept the drinks flowing. Food and drinks cost around ¥5,000 extra, but it was totally worth it. Our host, Rika-san, was amazing—super fun and welcoming. She explained the dishes and drinks, joined us for a toast, and made the whole night feel like hanging out with a friend who knows all the best local spots. What made it even better was the group we were with—we all stuck together afterward and continued the night at Golden Gai (not part of the tour). It turned out to be the perfect way to meet people and keep the fun going!
