This tour was flat compared to others we have been on. The guide was an extremely fast speaker and didn't do anything to engage the people on the tour. The tour did start 25 minutes late as the bus was not there on time and the tour guide seemed extremely upset that the bus was not there - he commented several times about that. Toledo and Segovia were nice to see but a more engaging tour guide is always better.

The trip was a bit chaotic with poor communication from the tour guide. She struggled to speak English although we chose an English speaking tour. We did not understand her easily and were disappointed we did not learn much about the things we saw. Meeting points were unclear and there was confusion amongst the group throughout the trip. At the end of the day, one couple was separated from the group. Admittedly there was a country wide blackout that day, but the tour guide made only minimal attempts to locate the lost couple who were eventually left behind in Segovia. With a English speaking tour guide the trip could have been much improved. The bus ride was comfortable and Toledo and Segovia were very beautiful to visit. Because of the blackout we weren't able to enter the castle in Segovia and were not offered a refund.

Given the fact that the tour was on the day of the major power outage in Spain the tour guides did a very good job giving us the best experience they could.
