Our sushi-making class in Tokyo was absolutely incredible! The sushi master chef was not only highly skilled but also patient, funny, and passionate about sharing the art of traditional sushi. We learned everything from preparing the rice to slicing the fish and perfecting the rolls — all in an authentic Japanese kitchen setting. The chef made the experience hands-on and fun, explaining the history and culture behind each technique. The ingredients were top quality, and the sushi we made tasted better than anything we’ve had at restaurants! This class was a true highlight of our trip to Japan — educational, delicious, and unforgettable. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Tokyo! 🍣👏

Based on the title of this tour, we were expecting that we would tour the fish market with the chef and then learn how to make sushi. Unfortunately this turned out to be a tour of the restaurant and shopping part of the market with a guide who was very nice, but not the chef. We were then delivered to the folks who conducted the sushi making part of the tour, which was a lot of fun. We feel like we got enough information to attempt this at home.
