5.00Tamara showed us some fantastic places to eat in sorrento. It was fun to see the factory and learn about real Italian food. No garlic necessary!

5.00Excellent tour.- a great way to get to know the beautiful city of sorrento. You need to arrive hungry! Tamara was prompt and presented us beautiful pastries on arrival proceeded to lead us through the streets and lanes of Sorrento giving us tips on shopping travelling and history of foods and culture of the city. Firstly trying toasted Saltimbocca/ then delicious limoncello and lemon grove in the middle of the city / we visited delicatessens with tastings of cheeses and meats/ then a simple but delicious 3 course in an Italian restaurant -(which we went back to later they evening though - we did not need to eat). We then proceeded onto ice creams/ sweets/chocolates/ herbs and spices in various shops. Tamara obviously knows the city well and has a good relationship with cafe and shop owners - recommending shops for shoes /bags/clothing or anything you’re particularly interested in. She also recommended ideas for places for drinks / dinner later and visits in the area. Good value - would highly recommend

5.00We covered quite a bit of ground in terms of trying various local foods. We went to one authentic Italian restaurant and were served wine, delicious traditional Caprese salad, and gnocchi. Tamara seems to know many of the restaurant and shop owners. including one higher end leather shop. Most of them provide a discount if you come back and mention Tamara’s name. We were happy with the tour and glad we included it as part of our visit to Sorrento!

5.00Tamara was an excellent guide. She was knowledgeable about the culture and had great relationships with restaurant owners adding a warm and personal touch to our experience. I would highly recommend this tour on your first day in Sorrento, to get yourself acquainted with the town and the restaurants.
