Wild & Fired BBQ School provides a fire-cooking experience in the historic Walled Garden within Brook Hall Estate & Gardens, overlooking the River Foyle in Derry City.
Experience Inclusions:
- Learning the history of the woodlands and rivers
- Learning to make your own fire and experience cooking a wood-fired meal together

A wonderful experience. Norm is expert in his field and Emily is a force of nature. Idyllic setting. Primal cooking. Absolutely delicious from the breakfast sandwich, through the chowder, all the way to the sit down meal and dessert. Heartily recommend.

Norm and Emily prepared and served an absolutely wonderful lunch for our tour group after our walk of the Brook Hall Estate grounds and gardens. Offerings included a very tasty and tender slow cooked beef, barbecued chicken, garden fresh vegetables and salad. It was all served in cozy corner of the estate garden under a canopy that offered great protection from the rain. It was a welcome varied taste experience.

Our return visit to Lo&Slo….. another lovely experience with Norm, Emily & their team. Couldn’t think of a nicer way to celebrate American Thanksgiving…. The brined turkey was amazing …. Thoroughly enjoyed our day and so happy to recommend Norm & Emily. Evelyn

An amazing day with Norm and Emily …. Super couple… very knowledgeable …. So generous with information…. Food delicious…. We really enjoyed the whole experience from start to finish…. Emily’s tour through the gardens started us off perfectly. They are both passionate about what they do and will make barbecuing a new adventure for us going forward. So refreshing to meet a really genuine and generous couple. It is our pleasure to recommend Lo&Slo …. You will not be disappointed. We left feeling very relaxed having enjoyed all the food with a lovely group of people. The setting in the walled garden of Brook Hall Estate & Gardens with the River Foyle flowing past is fabulous. Amazing experience from the moment we arrived, right to the point we left. Both Emily & Norm are a phenomenal team! They made the whole experience wonderful! The surroundings are second to none & that alone set he scene for the beautiful day! We can’t thank them enough for their hospitality & kindness.
