Mikumi National Park

Begin your journey in Zanzibar, flying with domestic flight to Mikumi National Park, known for its Mkata flood plains, reminiscent of the Serengeti. Upon arrival at Kikoboga Airstrip, you'll be greeted by our driver-guide, who will outline the day's activities. Commence a game drive through the Mkata flood plains, a hotspot for wildlife viewing, where you may encounter elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, and possibly predators such as hyenas, leopards, and lions. The area is also a habitat for the Sable Antelope, Great Kudu, and Eland, the world's largest antelope. Enjoy a midday hot lunch before further exploring the park. The afternoon features a visit to the renowned Hippo Pool, a gathering place for various wildlife. The day ends with a drive back to the airstrip for your domestic flight return flight to Zanzibar, carrying memories of the day's adventures.

Aristidis is by far the best driver. Friendly, caring, helpful... he made sure we saw any animal we wanted that day. My daughter is thrilled and we will definitely be back to him.

It was the most amazing safari ever! Our guides Ernest and Ngonani did their best to see as many African animals as possible in a day. Due to keeping in touch with the other guides all the time, they brought us to see even a leopard , which turned out to be a difficulty to be spotted because of its cats predeitor's life. Thank you guys for being such professionals. Good luck!

The safari was really good, we see a lot of animal in their Natural enviroment. The guide were exellent, captain Felix and Moses were fantastic.

Had a wonderful day, the taxi was at our hotel at the agreed time. Then in a small but super nice plane to the park also there everything super well arranged a lot of animals really worth seeing (and money) the guide knew a lot about it but was sometimes difficult to understand. Even the food in the park was fine (chicken, beef, rice, fries) It is an exhausting day but if you are in Zanzibar you really need to take the time to do this safari.

One day Safari in Mikumi National Park. Fantastic experience, our driver Aristides with perfect English explained a lot of things to us. We managed to see 4 big five, except for the rhinoceros: lions, elephants, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, fawns, giraffes and even the leopard. That's really funny. Thank you Aristides for all the rides you've given us.

We had the best day ever! It was honestly incredible, we were able to see so many animals up close! Our safari guide Fidelis was amazing! He was super friendly and very knowledgeable, getting us up close to all the animals and giving us very interesting knowledge about them. He definitely goes above and beyond to find the animals for us to see! We are very grateful! Thank you so much for the best day!
