I’ll be short, but honest. Thomas, the organizer, was polite and professional. Maselino, the guide, was personable, accommodating, pleasant to talk to, communicative, attentive and competent. His English was phenomenal. Good vibes. Good guide-customer match. Lucky me! I didn’t pay for this booking through TripAdvisor.

Our full day trip in der es salaam was fantastic and peaceful. The combination of culture, food, and ocean breeze made it unforgettable. We began our day in Dar es Salaam at Kariakoo Market, where every corner was alive with color, chatter, and the aroma of fresh produce. Handmade crafts and local textiles caught our eyes as we navigated the bustling lanes. A short drive took us to the Askari Monument, where history whispered through its elegant structure. At the National Museum, we marveled at ancient artifacts and fossils, connecting deeply with Tanzania’s rich past. Lunch by the coast treated us to succulent grilled fish and coconut rice. Later, we wandered through Slipway, enjoying boutique shopping and gallery visits. Our day ended at Coco Beach, watching waves glisten under the afternoon sun

Dar es Salaam showed us the heart of Tanzania’s urban life. The mix of old and new, from colonial buildings to modern shops, created a unique atmosphere. Our guide’s stories brought the city’s history alive, and sharing these moments with close friends made the experience unforgettable. A city tour that opened our eyes and hearts.

Envoyage Tanzania was very professional. They communicated the day before pickup and the pickup was pretty much on time. Our full-day guide spoke well. We were supposed to just pass by St Joseph but we did a long stop; ditto for the Askari monument. We greatly appreciated the Lutheran Church visit as well as the Village Museum, which gave us a great glimpse into the different regions of Tanzania. My wife was able to get a souvenir piece from the Mwenge woodcarvers market so that was a valuable stop. We were also impressed with the War Cemetery. It was unfortunate that the National Museum was closed on that day. We also somehow skipped the visit to DARCH and just passed by Coco Beach. Still, despite the omissions, we believe we saw a lot of Dar Es Salaam.

My one day Envoyage Tanzania in Dar es Salaam was a beautiful mix of culture, chaos, and calm. The day began with a tuk-tuk ride through busy streets, where every corner had its own rhythm. I explored the historic Askari Monument, then wandered into the old alleys of the city center, feeling the blend of Swahili and colonial charm. Lunchtime was a treat with fresh seafood by the harbor. In the afternoon, I found peace at the Village Museum, walking among traditional huts and learning tribal stories. As the sun dipped, I enjoyed street music and coconut juice along the Msasani waterfront. Dar es Salaam lived up to its meaning-Haven of Peace.

After the wild safari, we spent a full day exploring Dar es Salaam through a private city tour, and it turned out to be a colorful and enriching experience. The city is a blend of African, Arab, and Indian influences, and our guide ensured we saw the heart of it all. We started with a visit to the Kariakoo Market, a bustling local market where the real daily life of Tanzanians can be felt. The sights, sounds, and aromas were overwhelming but fascinating. Next, we visited historical spots like the Askari Monument and the National Museum, which gave us insights into Tanzania's colonial past and cultural heritage.

Spending a full day exploring Dar es Salaam with my father was more than a tour, it was a shared journey through history, culture, and quiet moments that will stay with us forever. Our guide (Maselino) greeted us early with a genuine smile and a thoughtful plan tailored to our interests. We began at the National Museum, where we learned about Tanzania’s deep cultural roots and colonial history. My father especially enjoyed the exhibits related to human evolution and traditional tribal tools. We also visited at the Askari Monument, where my father stood in silence, reflecting on the city's colonial past. That moment set the tone-it wasn't just about seeing places, but feeling them. We ended the day with a delicious Swahili lunch at a local restaurant, a real highlight with flavorful dishes like pilau and grilled fish. The entire tour felt very personal and well-organized by Envoyage Tanzania Team.

My friends and me spent a full day exploring Dar es Salaam, and honestly, we didn’t expect it to be this fun. We started with no fixed plan just good vibes, a full battery, and an open mind. The city welcomed us with noise, colors, and warm faces. We found ourselves walking through local streets, stopping randomly to try street food and check out small shops. The mix of cultures in the city is amazing-Swahili, Indian, Arab-it’s all there, and you can feel it in the air, the buildings, and the food. No rush, no noise, just the sound of waves and a peaceful feeling that’s hard to find in busy cities.

It was my very short trip with them. The Envoyage team seemed very hardworking. They took me to visit the most beautiful places of the Dar es Salaam in their private vehicle. They were very polite and courteous. Even though it was a short trip, it will remain in my heart forever.
