IMPORTANT: The Machu Picchu authority requires the following information: full name, passport number, date of birth, and nationality in order to issue the entrance ticket. When booking, please provide this information exactly as it appears on your passport.
MACHU PICCHU CAPACITY IS LIMITED. Entry is scheduled in hourly shifts from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Our tour includes visits to Machu Picchu between the shifts from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM. If these shifts are not available, FLY CUSCO PERU will immediately confirm the tour for the next available time, ensuring your visit to the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu.
Machu Picchu tickets will be assigned according to availability at the time of booking. The first option will be Circuit 2 (we recommend booking at least 2 to 3 months in advance). If Circuit 2 tickets are sold out, Circuit 1 or Circuit 3 will be assigned as an alternative
ABOUT THE BRIEFING: A FLY CUSCO PERU representative will contact you one day in advance to arrange the meeting in your hotel lobby or at our offices in the historic center of Cusco, as previously agreed upon. We will provide you with a detailed map with a step-by-step itinerary and all the important tickets included in this program.
TO SPEND THE NIGHT IN AGUAS CALIENTES (MACHU PICCHU VILLAGE). Bring a small backpack or carry-on bag with enough clothing to last the night. You can leave the rest of your items at your hotel in Cusco; most hotels have storage facilities where they will keep your belongings (at no extra cost). We will also be happy to store your belongings at our office at Calle Ayacucho 230, 4th floor, OF 404, Historic Center, Cusco.
What to bring: sunglasses, comfortable clothes and shoes, a hat, sunscreen, mosquito repellent, a jacket, a small backpack with enough clothing to last the night. Waterproof clothing during the rainy season (December-Mar).
ABOUT WHEELCHAIRS: This option is offered as a private tour at an additional cost, but not all areas are wheelchair accessible.
There will be a maximum of 10 travelers per tour or activity. During low season, the tour or activity can accommodate up to 4 people, providing a more personalized experience.

7:45 a.m. – After breakfast at your hotel in Cusco, our guide will pick you up to begin your journey to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Enjoy the stunning Andean landscapes, the warmth of the local people, and the incredible archaeological sites that make this tour an unforgettable experience.
8:30 a.m. – After about an hour’s drive from Cusco, we’ll arrive at the charming town of Chinchero. Here, we’ll visit a local family who keeps the ancient tradition of Andean weaving alive. You’ll have the chance to meet their alpacas and llamas, feed them, take photos, and learn about the traditional natural dyeing techniques used to create their beautiful handmade textiles.
Moray
9:30 a.m. – Admire the impressive circular terraces of Moray, the Inca agricultural laboratory, surrounded by the majestic Andes. Your guide will explain how the Incas experimented with different microclimates to cultivate their crops. It’s a fascinating site that perfectly combines ingenious engineering, history, and natural beauty.
Salinas de Maras
11:00 a.m. – Explore the thousands of salt ponds of Maras, still in use since Inca times. This site offers one of the most iconic views of the Sacred Valley. Your guide will be happy to capture this special moment for you before continuing the journey to enjoy a traditional lunch.
12:00 p.m. – Enjoy a delicious buffet lunch at one of the finest restaurants in the Sacred Valley, featuring more than 50 Peruvian dishes including salads, soups, main courses, and traditional desserts. Vegetarian options are also available.
2:10 p.m. – Explore the terraces and ruins of Ollantaytambo, an important military, religious, and agricultural center that once guarded the entrance to the trail leading to Machu Picchu. This site witnessed key events during the Spanish invasion. After the visit, we’ll head to the train station to board your selected service (regular, panoramic, or observatory train, depending on your reservation). During the 1 hour and 45-minute journey, you’ll enjoy breathtaking views of the Andes and the Urubamba River on your way to Aguas Calientes.
Aguas Calientes
6:00 p.m. – Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu town), our staff will be waiting at the train station exit to escort you to your hotel. After check-in, enjoy a free afternoon to relax or explore the town at your own pace.

7:00 a.m. – After breakfast at the hotel, we will head with our guide to the bus station, which will take us to the main entrance of the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu. Begin a guided tour through the main areas of the Inca citadel, exploring its plazas, temples, and finely carved stone stairways. Your guide will share fascinating historical and spiritual insights that make Machu Picchu one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. After the guided visit, you’ll have free time to explore the site on your own and take in the breathtaking scenery. Later, we’ll take the bus back to Aguas Calientes, where you’ll have time for lunch (not included). 2:00 p.m. – At the scheduled time, we’ll board the train back to Ollantaytambo, enjoying once again the spectacular landscapes of the valley.
Upon arrival at the Ollantaytambo train station, our private transport will be waiting to take you back to your hotel in Cusco. Estimated arrival time: 6:00 p.m.

5.00Wow! This tour is the best way to experience the Sacred Valley in comfort. All the details were handled so husband and I could just enjoy the trip. The transportation was very comfortable. The Peruvian buffet was a delicious lunch stop and a great way to try so many local dishes at once. The sites are amazing to behold. Martin and Victor made sure we had everything we needed and gave great insight into the history of each archeological site. Our tour guide Yudith was incredibly knowledgeable and really brought out the magic of Machu Picchu with her explanations. The observatory train was so much fun! Live music, snacks, drinks, and dancing on the way to Aguas Calientes will be a long lasting memory. Don’t hesitate to book this trip. You are in great hands! Thank you to Martin, Victor, Elvis, Fernando, and Yudith for working so hard to make sure we enjoyed our trip. Mil Gracias!!

5.00Wonderful trip, visiting some amazing sites on the way down to Machu Picchu. Ervine was an excellent guide and very knowledgeable. Our hotel was great and, although it had rained most of the day, the sun came out for our afternoon trip to see the ancient city. Excellent!!!!

5.00Wow - what a tour! So much to see and do in just two days. Preparing for the trip was the most involved as we had to decide what type of train ticket to select, which circuit to select at Machu Picchu and our choice of hotel accommodations. There was a lot of information to sort through at the beginning that could have been a little clearer. That said, we were happy with what we ended up with and glad to get an entrance ticket to Machu Picchu given the lateness of our booking. Our tour guide on day 1 of the trip, Effy, was excellent as was our driver who took us to and from Cusco! Everything was exceptionally well organized and the communication for the trip was equally as good! This was our third tour with Viator on our trip to Peru and would highly recommend it!

4.00The hotel in Aguas Calientes is horrible. The room smells, carpet is filthy, the sheet is not long enough to be tucked in, therefore if one moves during sleep, one will be on the disgusting mattress. I get disgusted just thinking about this night. How is the hotel a three stars?

5.00This was an excellent tour! Rayza was a great communicator from beginning to end of our 2 day tour. Without her guidance, we would have been lost amongst the crowd in Aquas Calientes and Macchu Picchu. She can easily be contacted via WhatsApp. Our Sacred Valley tour was Victor. He was amazing and knowledgeable about the places he took us to (Moray circular terraces, Salineras salt mine and Ollantaytambo archaeological park). He ended the tour by taking us all the way to the train station and constantly checking if we had our documents to board the train. Our Macchu Picchu tour was Martin! He was also amazing, knowledgeable, vibrant and energetic. He was also our photographer (we had awesome pictures!). This tour was expensive but the money spent was well worth it. At the Aguas Calientes (base of Macchu Picchu), it is so crowded, there are many vendors and free lance guides hassling you, it can get overwhelming and overstimulating! We had a private tour with Martin. It was nice because we took our time. The climb to Macchu Picchu was slightly difficulty and it was nice not having people wait on us. Overall, great experience with this tour. We are blessed and happy to have Rayza, Victor and Martin guide us on this tour. I highly recommend them!

5.00Overall, this was an excellent tour to know Machu Picchu and some of the places nearby. Both our tour guides were very polite and knowledgeable and the transportation was good. The hotel in Aguas Calientes was OK and all meals throughout the trip were very good. Recommended!
