Very well organized. The agency was there when we needed them whenever there were any hiccups. Only negative thing was day was VERY RUSHED the guide Carlos was A- Awesome but he was given his orders. We were quick marched through EVERY site, so that we could catch the 1500 their train. We could have left ollentaytambo much later and soaked in a little more of the sights. On the other hand there was nothing to do in Agua calientes in Machu Picchu that night. Next day we did the 6am tour to MP, which was fine since we were able to avoid crows. We were back at agua calientes by 930. We had nothing to do till the 230 train and were back by 5 pm. So it isNOT a two day tour barely a day and a quarter. Rest was just being hurried along and waiting around. The guides were all unfailingly great hotel was nice and the buffet they provided for lunch left nothing else to be desired

From start to finish, this tour was absolutely incredible! Rayza from Fly Cusco Travel was simply amazing — she went above and beyond to answer all my questions, stayed in constant touch via WhatsApp, and made sure my special requests were taken care of without a hitch. Our guides, Elfi and Jose, were kind, extremely knowledgeable, and genuinely wonderful to be around. They added so much value to the experience with their insights and friendly personalities. If you’re planning a trip to Cusco and Machu Picchu, do yourself a favor — don’t waste time or money with anyone else. Enjoy!

If you are looking to just visit Machu Picchu, you would normally take a 2 hour bus ride from Cusco to the train station, followed by a 90 minute train ride and finally another half an hour bus ride to Machu Picchu. You would then do the reverse on the way back (ie. 4+ hours of riding in a bus or train). I know this because this is what my son had to do as he was a late add that could not join our tour. Our tour replaced that first 2 hour bus ride with a 4-5 hour tour of scenic and historical sites within the Sacred Valley--making multiple stops along the way. A much more pleasant way to get the train station. You then board the train and upon arrival in Aquas Calientes are provided reasonable accommodations in the town closest to Machu Picchu (plenty of restaurants and souvenir vendors in this area). Perhaps the biggest advantage of staying the night in Aquas Calientes is that the actual visit to Machu Picchu took place at 7:00 am on Circuit 2, which is the optimal time and Circuit to visit this amazing Inka City. Arriving with the earliest crowds, the site was easy to navigate with only several hundred other visitors there at the time. As we were leaving the crowds were definitely increasing and appeared to make the experience more cluttered. I suppose that one could replicate this tour on their own, but since the company has done the work of planning the itinerary, and coordinating guides, buses, hotel and most of the tickets, I found this tour to be well worth the amount paid and a fantastic value. Highly recommend because it simply is not easy to plan a visit to Machu Picchu.

We had a professional driver and two very professional and knowledgeable guides. We had a small scheduling issue with the train and the company went out of their way to resolve the problems. Highly recommend! As both guides did a great job speaking English.
