Amazing hike and experience with the tour. It was very informative with history and details of the past. They were able to accommodate the entire group fast and slower. The food was simply amazing they even made a cake for us somehow on the trail. I didn’t expect the food to be so good. The campsites were also in breath taking areas. This is def an amazing once in a lifetime experience and this is probably the best tour company to do it with. Other tours have 20-50 people and I could not imagine going with a group that size. We had a small intimate group. Absolutely perfect for getting to know others and having everything timely.

From the briefing the night before the trek, to arriving at Machu Picchu in bright early morning sunshine, our guides, Juan de Dios and Lourdes, ensured everything ran smoothly and to plan. As a solo traveller, they made me feel very welcome straight away. And I was very fortunate that the other trekkers in the group - 15 from mainland Europe and the US - were great company and a lot of fun. The trek itself wasn't a walk in the park, especially during the second day! But Juan and Lourdes were always encouraging and enthusiastic, making sure we all stayed together as a group. They explained and pointed out interesting things along the way: the flora and fauna, histories of the ruins we visited, together with the beliefs, customs, and sophisticated way of life of the Incas. All this added to the enjoyment of the adventure. So much work seemed to go into making the trek a success: from the porters (who carried huge packs on their backs, ensuring everything was set up ready for our arrival at a new campsite each evening), to the cooks (who made terrific, tasty, food - and always plenty of it) to the fabulous Andean scenery. TreXperience, and Juan and Lourdes in particular, ensured my Inca Trail was a wonderful experience. So, thank you!

I did this trip solo recently. I met many amazing people, owing thanks to the guides for creating a family-like environment throughout the entire experience. The food was great and even on the day it rained everyone spirits stayed high because we knew our excellent team of porters would have camp set up and a warm meal ready at the campsite.

We enjoyed very much our 4-day Inca Trail hike thanks to Wilian Elvis and Yovani! They were amazing guides and did a really good job to navigate the group. When we were ahead of schedule, Wilian Elvis entertained us with different stories about the incas and their way of living, which were always super interesting. He knew so much about the incas, different birds and trees we were seeing along the way. Hands down one of the best experiences in my life! Also huge thanks to Alejandro who was our chef who cooked us amazing hot meals, the food definitely exceeded my expectations! Lastly, thanks to Alejandro, the head porter, and all the other porters who carried our bags and organized the camp perfectly every time!

The organization of the four days was great! From punctual pick-up on the first day to unloading on the last day. The whole crew, especially the two guides (Julio and David) and the boss (Ismael aka Pablito) were great! The communication and entertainment as well as the broad knowledge of both guides were the dot on the I. We had experienced super great, fun and exciting moments. The food of Ishmael and his men was outstanding! It's amazing what they could prepare in the mountains. I can only recommend the agency and would book it again through this agency if I am in Peru again and visit the magical place Machu Picchu.

Amazing experience with the TreXperience team. Both guides Wilian Elvis and Yovani were great and managed the group well throughout the 4 days - explanations at each Inca site and time management were perfect. Alejandro cooked amazing meals each night and ensured all of the team worked well together - each porter was so friendly and made sure everything was perfect for our trip, could not have been any better. Thank you to the full team for making my Machu Picchu experience the best! Thomas George Tupananchiskama!!
