KD was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, funny, and overall a great guide. Very leisurely trip to enjoy the surroundings of the salt marsh and all nature has to offer!

We had a team outing to celebrate completing a big project, and it was an amazing experience. Alexa was an incredible tour guide, knowledgeable, engaging, and quick to match our constant jokes and banter. I’ll definitely be back for more trips in the future and will be recommending this to everyone! The office staff I spoke with the on the phone and in person were extremely helpful and answered all of my questions.

The company operations were well-run and the staff friendly and helpful. But based on the description of the outing, I was expecting a more leisurely exploration of the marsh, looking at birds, enjoying the environment, etc. Instead, it was a constant full-on paddle. We only stopped once in the 2-yours to hear about the marsh, trees, wildlife, etc. The rest of the time we paddled and the guide talked about the area. I was behind him so heard almost nothing of what he said, despite me explaining that I couldn't hear anything. All in all, a disappointing outing.

We loved this water-based experience to learn about the history and nature of the marsh. Alexandra was a superb guide. She shared her knowledge of the water and its inhabitants and the people who have always lived there. She was a bright light on an unseasonably cloudy day which made the paddle extraordinary.

I am guessing that it would’ve been better if there was less wind on the trip. I thought we would do more kayaking than talking.

Had a nice small group of 6 of us on the 2 hour tour.-all ranges from experience couple (us) to the others who had never paddled a kayak before. Perfect weather on October 15th. Saw numerous species of shorebirds, and a brown dolphin. Lots of oyster beds about the shallow waters. A very nice, informative young woman named JD. She also gave us excellent safety talk and a brief lesson on how to paddle properly before the talk. Reassured the group that she was quite experienced in sea kayak rescue and that we were in good hands. We were indeed.

We had a terrific time on our kayak tour! KD was an excellent guide and shared a bounty of information about the salt marshes and the plants & animals that call that area home. I am not an experienced kayaker and had no trouble managing the tour. One of the best things we did while visiting Charleston!

Guide was friendly and knowledgeable. He put together a great route based it being high tide and having rained a lot the prior two days.

Very kind, helpful and knowledgeable staff and guide. It was a very enjoyable time “relaxing” on the water while learning interesting facts about the ecosystem.

The tour guide and tour itself were both excellent - the weather worked out great and we were able to see quite a bit of the native birds and wildlife while out on the water. Due to the later time of year I think there wasn't as much as in the spring / summer, but would definitely recommend to anyone while in Charleston. Only complaint is that the tour wasn't longer!
