With an expert guide, explore the archeological site at Delphi on a walking tour and learn about Ancient Greece while seeing the Sanctuary of Apollo and more. Travel through the picturesque towns of the Thessalian plains, and stay overnight in a 3- or 4-star hotel in Kalambaka, gateway to Meteora. The following day, explore two of Meteora’s beguiling cliff-top monasteries before making the journey back to Athens.

This trip was a once in a lifetime Must See! The weather was extremely hot (95+ degrees Farenheit) and only 2 out of the 4 of us made it to the top of the Delphi ruins. The monasteries were amazing as well. Our tour guide spoke French/English fluently and was very knowledgeable and informative of the history. The hotel (3 star) was exceptional -- accommodations, food, staff, etc. The only suggestion I have would be to tell participants to pack swimming apparel as there was a pool at the hotel and we did not plan for this. Given the extreme temperatures, it would have been nice to take a swim in the evening.

It was an amazing place to be, pictures cannot do it justice. It is a very powerful place to be. There are a lot of steps, strongly encourage good footwear and water.

To be able to experience everything, you need to be fit enough to walk up stairs to one monastery and at Delphi. Worthwhile tour.

2 day trip was split into two guides. The first tour was Delphi and the second tour was Meteora. Both guides were extremely passionate & helpful. I really enjoyed the trip to the monastery.
