Kilin
This wee village features the dramatic Falls of Dochart and has connections to the legendary folk hero and outlaw Rob Roy MacGregor.
Glencoe
We then arrive at the majestic Glencoe, renowned for its rugged slopes and rich history, often showcased in films. Here, you'll have time for photos or a short walk to appreciate the stunning landscape and learn about one of the most tragic tales in Scottish history.
Overnight in Kyleakin or Kyle of Lochalsh (Between 31st October and 31st March, you'll spend two nights in Broadford)
Glenfinnan Viaduct
Admire the beautiful viaduct that the ‘Hogwarts Express’ runs along. This is one of the most beautiful railway bends in Britain and featured in the Harry Potter movies. There’s also an iconic monument that commemorates the Jacobites who fought for Scottish independence.
Mallaig
Next, we make our way to Mallaig, where you’ll have time for a quick lunch before boarding the ferry to Skye.
Isle of Skye
Grab some lunch and get ready to take the ferry 'over the sea to Skye' to the southern area of the famous island. We’ll spend the afternoon exploring the incredible landscapes of the Sleat Peninsula, often referred to as the "Garden of Skye" for its lush landscapes and vibrant greenery. Your driver-guide will adapt the itinerary to the weather and your group’s interests, potentially taking you to the renowned waterfalls of Glenbrittle or the dramatic Cuillin Mountains in Elgol, where you can revel in breathtaking views.

This was a beautiful tour through the highlands. The company intentionally stops lots to give you bathroom breaks and time off the bus. It’s important that you expect a small town tour with lots of driving. The tour guide we had, Peter, was funny and knowledgeable. He was also a safe driver. We had rabbie’s book the accommodation. The one in Fort William, The Alexandra, was run down and my bathroom was not thoroughly cleaned. However, the one booked in kylakin, The White Heather, was what small town b&b dreams are made of: a friendly host, a beautiful view, a warm and cozy room. As well, the host worked hard to make breakfast fresh and enjoyable. The final day on the way home, we stopped at a small cafè for lunch and then at 1:30 stopped in at an adorable Victorian town. I do wish rabbies would consider giving guests more time in the Victorian village on future trips so lunch could be enjoyed there instead. Either way, lunch was delicious and the town was enjoyed! A great trip overall! Would recommend to friends looking to see the highlands. My grandmother and I both very much enjoyed the trip.

This tour was great. Ashleigh, the guide, was very knowledgeable, friendly and funny and she was good at creating a kind, supportive space during the tour. I loved getting to see places I would've struggled visiting without a car and having almost everything save for dinner planned ahead of time (and even then Ashleigh gave some very good dinner and lunch options and tried many of them herself to give us a good idea of what to expect). I also really enjoyed being able to take my time looking at everything, especially compared to shorted tours that still visit the same number of places - this way, I was actually able to take everything I saw in, rather than rushing, taking a picture and moving on. Ashleigh was also great at adapting to the weather, which was especially useful on the days where it rained so hard we even got some hail mixed in. I was also very satisfied with the hotel and B&B that had been sorted for me, especially the one in Klyeakin, the White Heather Hotel, which had exceptionally friendly and kind staff who were very willing to accommodate, help or even have a quick chat.

The historic information that Robert was able to share was pretty amazing. He knew all the dates, battles, kings, and queens. Most of all he knew all the best locations for photographers.

The scenery was amazing but what tied it all together was our guide and all her stories. She was the best we have ever had on tours around the world.
