⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Rabbie’s Tours – Guided by Michael If you’re coming to Scotland, book with Michael! From the very first moment, he made it his mission to ensure every single one of us had the best possible experience—and he absolutely delivered. His passion for what he does shines through in everything: the stories, the laughter, the hidden gems, the perfectly timed stops, and even the soundtrack! (Yes, he added new songs to my playlist!) Michael isn’t just a guide—he’s a fountain of knowledge, a storyteller, and someone who genuinely loves sharing Scotland’s magic. Because of him, this tour has exceeded every expectation. The B&Bs we stayed in were incredible, the views unforgettable, and every day felt like a new adventure. One of my biggest bucket-list dreams was to stand in Loch Ness—and I did it! Everything since has been an even greater and more stunning experience. Thank you, Michael, for making this journey one I’ll never forget.

We do not normally do arranged tours but due to time and distance the 4 day tour to Isle of Skye ticked all our boxes. With trepidation we set off but any concerns we had were very quickly gone. Colin our tour guide/driver was amazing - very knowledgeable and easy going. Gave thought to group and individual needs. And the tour itself…. Incredible. There is no way we would have seen and learnt as much as we did doing it solo.

Our 4-day trip to the Isle of Skye was fantastic! Our guide, Rhys, did everything he could to cater to our wishes and show us the most beautiful parts of the island. He even took us to places he had only heard about but had never been to himself. The bed and breakfasts were very cozy and offered a wide selection of breakfast options—including dairy-free options if required. The tour group was also great overall, and we will look back on this trip with fond memories for a long time to come.

We both searched for a tour to the Highlands and Sky Island online, and saw a lot of people introducing Rabbies to the travel agency. Rabbies uses a small tourist bar with 16 seats to make it easy to reach all attractions. The number of small groups is smaller and more convenient. For accommodation, Rabbies has the option to book a B&B, hotel or book on its own at the time of booking. We have chosen to arrange B&B en-suite with the help of Rabbbies. Three nights stay is very comfortable, and a daily tourist bar is transferred to the property. Our chauffeur and tour guide Neil is very knowledgeable and experienced, and will tell the history and stories of the places during the journey, and will also explain the photos, tour routes, restaurant introductions and mailing stores before arrival. Due to the season and location restrictions, Neil carefully booked lunch and dinner for the first day of the trip. With a small tourist bar for 16 people, we can easily reach different locations in the Highlands and Sky Island, enjoy spectacular natural views and landscapes, and visiting attractions have plenty of time to visit and take photos. Although only 4 days of time is a bit of a delay, all the stunning scenery has been filled in the eye, something worth it!

This tour was great! There's no way I would’ve made it to Skye if I had to drive myself, so being able to just sit back and enjoy the ride was a huge win. The journey up to the Highlands was an experience in itself. Our guide, Andy, regaled us with Scottish history at well timed moments and didn't talk at us all the way. Albeit he wasn't the liveliest person, but I think that was just his chill manner. Great and calm driver though!! Heads up though — the roads can get pretty twisty, so if you’re prone to motion sickness, definitely pack some anti-nausea tablets. Andy was great at pacing the trip — the coffee and loo breaks were always perfectly timed, you never felt stuck in the minibus too long, but you also weren’t left hanging around waiting to get back on either. And having a small group made it even better! We all got to know each other, and it felt more personal than a big bus tour. Our accommodations (which were split up among the group) were all exceptional. Also — don’t skip Eilean Donan Castle! The tour is totally worth it and gives you a real sense of the place. In general, the Scottish landscape is stunning, and we covered a lot of ground, but there's little to do other than admire the views so if you're not keen on a physically active tour, this would be a good option. What I really loved was that we also stopped in small towns/ villages that weren’t overrun with tourists—it felt a lot more authentic. Plus, the locals were so lovely and funny (shoutout to Robbie the Pict!). All in all, if you’re looking to explore the Highlands and Isle of Skye without the stress of driving or planning every little detail, this tour’s a total gem.

Where do I even begin? I just wrapped up a 4-day tour of the Highlands and Isle of Skye with Kelly as our guide – and I genuinely can’t imagine a better experience. Kelly isn’t just a tour guide – she’s a storyteller, historian, myth-weaver, and absolute gem of a human. Her storytelling during the drives was so theatrical and captivating, I often forgot we were on a road trip and not in the middle of an epic saga. She was also incredibly thoughtful and flexible. No matter what came up, she had it handled. She radiates warmth and made sure everyone felt welcomed and taken care of. If you’re considering a tour in Scotland, make sure it’s with Kelly. You’ll walk away with jaw-dropping views, ancient legends in your mind, and a smile on your face. Veronica and Bryan

  • Great Way to Experience Highland Life

    Katie S,

    - Review from Viator

This was a beautiful tour through the highlands. The company intentionally stops lots to give you bathroom breaks and time off the bus. It’s important that you expect a small town tour with lots of driving. The tour guide we had, Peter, was funny and knowledgeable. He was also a safe driver. We had rabbie’s book the accommodation. The one in Fort William, The Alexandra, was run down and my bathroom was not thoroughly cleaned. However, the one booked in kylakin, The White Heather, was what small town b&b dreams are made of: a friendly host, a beautiful view, a warm and cozy room. As well, the host worked hard to make breakfast fresh and enjoyable. The final day on the way home, we stopped at a small cafè for lunch and then at 1:30 stopped in at an adorable Victorian town. I do wish rabbies would consider giving guests more time in the Victorian village on future trips so lunch could be enjoyed there instead. Either way, lunch was delicious and the town was enjoyed! A great trip overall! Would recommend to friends looking to see the highlands. My grandmother and I both very much enjoyed the trip.
