My husband and I had an incredible 8 day private tour of Scotland with Hopscotch Travel. Our driver/tour guide Stewart was exceptional. He treated us like family and catered to our interests and needs. He was a wealth of information about the country, its history, culture, food, castles, and natural beauty. Once he got to know us, he made fabulous recommendations of things to do and see. We highly recommend both Hopscotch Travel and particularly Stewart. We have several friends that are going to book based on our recommendation!

From the first point of contact to the last goodbye, Hopscotch Travel provided excellent service for our family of 7 adults. We opted for a customized 7 day tour to Skye, Inverness, and Pitlochry but we saw so much more. Hamish helped us design the perfect tour to cover the varied interests of our group and Swain and Michael were great guides and drivers, adding in little extras along the way and bypassing some of the overly touristy spots in favor of more private views that were just as spectacular and fit the needs of our group. Both Swain and Michael made the history come alive and made each stop more interesting. The van was super comfortable for our group (and all the luggage) and it was so nice to let someone else handle all of the driving. I highly recommend Hopscotch to anyone looking for a private, personalized tour - truly five stars!

We had a private tour curated by Hopscotch from Glasgow to Islay for 3 days (toured 5 distilleries), then to Ft. William for an overnight at Inverlochy Castle, and then on to Edinburgh with stops at Glenco, Loch Ness, and Dalwhinnie. There were stops for pictures and hikes along the way with lots of history to talk about. An absolute great vacation with Michael who was so flexible and customized things for our interests and the weather. We saw an incredible amount of Scotland within a short trip and never felt rushed

We did a private 5 day tour of the Highlands for a family of 4 which included 2 teenagers. Fraiser was our guide. We had an amazing time. Fraiser was very friendly, incredibly knowledgeable and took us to amazing places. His love for his country came through and he seemed just as excited to be there as we were. He really made the trip very personal to us which included an amazing playlist of songs. Thank you so much for an unforgettable family adventure!

We just returned from seven wonderful days in Scotland on a private tour. It could not have been a better trip--including seven perfectly clear sunny days! Our guide, Ben Allison, listened to our specific interests and tailored the tour accordingly. Ben was extremely knowledgeable about Scotland, its culture, history, legends, geology, geography, /government/political structure, restaurants, and extraordinary views. I don't think I know nearly as much about my country as he does about his. He was fabulous guide and absolutely made the trip for us.
