Join our 5-day English Speaking courses to see some of the most beautiful places in Scotland. You will stay with our teachers in a private house in a green area just outside Edinburgh. You will be in small international group (max 6 people) which will give you a chance to practice your English for the whole course.
Each day we will have breakfast at home then go out to discover wonderful nature spots, historical cities and local culture. We always take lunch out with us so it can be enjoyed with great views and fresh air. In the evenings we'll make a home cooked meal and then play some fun games.
As well as all the places listed on our itinerary we have many more exciting surprises, treats and small trips.
We recommend a minimum level of B1 English to get the most out of this course. Our native speakers will always be there to help you throughout the course. The course is also flexible so you're welcome to enjoy some free time or suggest places you would love to visit.

On the first you'll meet your new travel mates and we'll show you around the local village. There will be food and drinks in the local park and then after check-in we will have a welcome dinner to discuss the days ahead.

A guided walk along the beautiful mountains and lakes to take in the amazing views. Picnic in a lovely spot on our route. We will also visit a small village and have a chance to buy some local products.

A chance to see the city. We will see some classic attractions and also some new hidden spots. We start our journey at the beautiful Castle and from there we will explore the capitals landmarks, hidden streets, parks and cafes.

5.00Amazing experience! I’ve met very nice people: Garry, his wife Elena and the other participants were very friendly. Every day we did some nice excursions. The accomodation is very charming e cosy. Compliments to Garry for the fantastic idea to join English speaking with beautiful hikes.

5.00Very satisfyed with them. They take care about all the details and show us another face of Scotland. A part of Edinburgh, castles, villages, the social life, tipical plates and a lot of impressive nature around with the best companions on the walk. I've improved my English a lot Thanks for all.

4.00I finished it in the first week of February and, as it was sold as a course, I confess that I was slightly disappointed, as I thought I would have more opportunities for targeted development. As a suggestion, I think you could add activities that encourage speech/interaction among the group, especially on the first day. While the group doesn't know each other well and without guidance to do so, silence, in "empty times", such as meals, during travel, etc., is somewhat uncomfortable and could perhaps be better utilized with dynamics, for example. Anyway, I couldn't help but mention that the team is very helpful, that the itineraries are well structured and organized and that I loved the overall cost-benefit, especially with regard to travel, which takes us to beautiful places. It was a pleasant experience, which I hope to repeat.

5.00It was a great experience! Garry and his wife were very attentive and careful with every detail... It was 5 days walking around Scotland, playing games and learning new vocabulary, eating great food prepared by Garry's wife, sharing experiences with the group and practicing English. I highly recommend the course and the entire experience! <3

5.00What can I say?! Everything was a kind of dream!! I attended the course in Edinburgh, everything was well organized from the manage of the hiking, the visit to Edimburgh. Garry and Tom spent took care about us, speaking in group or individually, and it was the perfect way to improve my English. The experience was amazing with the group webhad so much fun! I left a piece of my heart in Moffat Indipendent Hostel, so cozy and beautiful! I left a piece of my heart in the Scottish countryside! This course is a gift that you have to give to yourself! Something that you'll never forget!

5.00It was really a great experience ! Garry was very kind, we discroved a wonderful landscapes in Scotland with an amazing team. We coocked together, we played games. After the 5 days i really felt more confident with speacking english. I highly recommand. Thank's for everything !

Everything has been good: the teacher Garry- very professional and funny, beautiful places that we visited, the food we ate, the house where we spent funny and relax time.
