Our Private tour takes 3-Hours which is roughly split into 80 Minutes at the Acropolis and associated Temples, Theaters and buildings, and 80 Minutes at the Acropolis Museum. MEETING OUR GUIDE. Your guide will be waiting at the 'Acropoli' Metro Station at street level which is located at 7 Makrygianni Street, and close to the Acropolis Museum Our meeting spot provides an ideal perspective from which to view the surrounding wall of the Acropolis built by the earlier Mycenean Civilization and to provide you with an introduction to the History of the Acropolis, its importance and role in the life of ancient Greece, and an overview of the temples & amazing monuments you are about to see. If choosing the 'CITY TOUR LUXURY VEHICLE' option, return transfers are included so we will be at your Hotel or Cruise ship terminal to meet you.

TOURING THE ACROPOLIS and PARTHENON. Usually, you will continue first with a visit to the Acropolis lasting approximately 80 minutes during which time you will see all of the Temples, Theaters, and associated buildings such as the monumental gateway (Propylaea), Odeon of Herodes Atticus, the Temple of Athena Nike, Erechtheum, and of course the Parthenon.

5.00We absolutely LOVED this tour. Our guide (Maria/Mary/Shorty) was fabulous - extremely knowledgeable about the history, very concerned about our safety, and an amazing photographer to boot! Our van driver was also wonderful - super helpful when one of our group became slightly ill. Highly recommend this for a great way to get a lot of history in a relatively short time!

5.00If you’re planning to visit the Parthenon, the Areopagus, or the Ancient Agora, *do yourself a favor* and book Nicole. Her English is flawless, her knowledge is encyclopedic, and her storytelling—oh my!—it’s as if the marble itself starts talking when she speaks. Every stop felt alive. At the Parthenon, she didn’t just describe stones; she conjured gods and philosophers. On the Areopagus, she brought Paul’s sermon to life with such vivid detail I could almost hear the echoes. And in the Agora, I swear Socrates himself might have nodded in approval at her insights. Nicole’s warmth, humor, and deep passion for her city make her not just a guide, but a storyteller of the highest order. She has that rare ability to make ancient history feel personal and immediate. And if you happen to notice a twinkle in her eye when she mentions the sea—well, that’s the Corfu in her talking. A little island magic from the Ionian, sprinkled across the marble hills of Athens. I’ve taken many tours across Europe, but Nicole stands out above them all. Absolutely unforgettable.

5.00Having a private guide was great. No need for headphones and big buses. This is a great company to use. Also met the owner on another tour. They were so good we added a tour onto our trip thru them. Make sure you go early like they said. As we were heading out the crowds was getting bigger.

5.00We can't say enough good about our tour guide, Kalafati. Her knowledge of the museum, the Acropolis and Greek/Roman history was unbelievable. She pointed out so many insightful details along the way during our tour that we would have missed had we tried to do this on our own. Even with the little bit of rain that we had, Kalafati made this an amazing day for us. Also, we want to point out that the good people at Warmpenguin were very kind and patient with us as we got a little confused about our booking and arrived 1 1/2 hours early (our fault). We really appreciate their help. We would recommend this tour and this guide to anyone who wants to get the most out of their time at the Acropolis and Museum.
