Great experience! We booked a time that was too late for our overall plans, and the company was very accommodating. No refunds, but we did get an earlier time, and we were offered a variety of options for alterations to meet our needs. We were very pleased with the trip - thank you!

You have to find your own way to the ferry terminal. The direct route is very hilly so you either need to ride in a taxi or walk the flat route around the coast. Alcatraz visit is good but busy and takes almost 3 hours. The bay cruise is only an hour.

Brought my folks to visit the island (which they have heard so much about from documentaries). It was nice to do a self-paced tour around the main cell building with the audio guide. Accessibility wise, there was also a tram that could take you to the top of the island if you would like to skip the climb.
