Corinth Canal
Our first stop is at the impressive Corinth canal as your driver describes its many interesting ill-fated and varied History’s from Ancient times to the present.The Corinth Canal connects the Gulf of Corinth in the Ionian Sea with the Saronic Gulf in the Aegean Sea. It cuts through the narrow Isthmus of Corinth and separates the Peloponnese from the Greek mainland, arguably making the peninsula an island. The canal was dug through the isthmus at sea level and has no locks. It is 6.4 kilometres (4 mi) in length and only 21.4 metres (70 ft) wide at its base, making it impassable for many modern ships. From high up, you can enjoy the best view of Corinth's isthmus and admire the steep limestone walls while you observe the vessels below you navigate their way through the canal
Archaia Korinthos
Here, you can visit the Archaeological site and the museum of Ancient Corinth, one of the most important cities in Ancient Greece. Here, you have one hour to explore Apollo temple, the temple to Octavia, the baths, the Bema where St. Paul addressed the Corinthians, the Peirine fountain complex, the theatre, the Roman Odeum... Inside the archaeological site you can visit also the museum with exhibits from the area.

5.00I went on this tour with my friends and it was absolutely perfect! Our driver, Thodoris, was very knowledgeable and informative. He shared a lot of interesting historical information about the place and answered all of our questions in great detail. We highly recommend this tour to everyone — we had an amazing time!

5.00Excellent half day trip. Acrocorinth is very underrated, I didn't expect it to be that amazing and it doesn't seem very hyped up. Lots of uphill walking but well worth it. If you have any interest in fortresses or castle vibes, you will enjoy it. My guide, Xenofontas, was fantastic, he had a lot of interesting knowledge to help provide some context. He also shared a pretty cool fact about the upcoming Odyssey movie which actually spent some time filming there, which I will be looking forward to when it comes out. This place might become more popular (and no longer free) when it releases. We also made a couple of extra stops along the way since we had time due to less traffic on a holiday.

5.00Great experience with Yiannis. Learned a great deal super efficient way to see lots of items without worry about how to get to places. He picked us up in the port and dropped off at our hotel in the city center.

5.00The trip to Corinth to see the ruins and the canal was definitely worth it. Theo, the guide, was the best... excellent! He was knowledgeable in pointing out sites in Athens as we left the city and headed to Corinth and he provided valuable information to sights we saw along the way. Definitely ask for him if he's available!

5.00Driver and tour guide was very knowledgable. He informed of us about so much history about Athens, ancient Corinth and canal as well as Greece overall. He picked us up from the cruise port in Athens at 9am and we let him know we needed to be back before 2. He did a great job with time!

5.00Yiannis was very funny and spoke fluent English. I booked this tour for my birthday and ended up being the only person who signed up. Not gonna complain about a private tour! The drive may be a bit long but it’s totally worth it to see the sites. My only issues was the price as it seemed relatively high compared to all other day trips from Athens.
