Joes is full of great information about the region and the local people. This is not just a cooking class it’s much more. It’s a private class so you work at your own speed. He’s funny and his background as a high end chef really comes through. He will delight you with some techniques , some drinks and tapas that you will not find anywhere else. We highly recommend you take the time to experience the making the traditional paella! Worth your time and money. We loved it.

We had the best day with Jose. He was very generous with his time . The food and wine was delicious and plentiful and he made it fun as well. I would recommend this cooking class 100 % and with the recipe book so kindly given I will be coo koi ng paella a lot when I return to home. Thankyou Jose for everything

Would highly recommend this if you are into cooking. Jose goes through all the steps to make multiple dishes. All four of us that attended this were blown away at what we learned in techniques, types of ingredients and the steps in cooking the dishes including the paella. We prep and cooked, so it is totally hands on if you wish ( we were looking for hands on ). We got to eat and drink and were really full after the session. We came away with recipes to do an entire dinner including Sangria, appetizers and the paella dish.

Chef Jose was exceptional in guiding us through the proper steps in making an authentic Valencian paella. He was patient and encouraging as my sixteen year old son cooked paella for the first time while we participated in getting the main ingredients ready for the meal. We were treated to the chef personally creating two tapas and a delicous gazpacho soup to start the meal. We enjoyed sitting in the kitchen eating our freshly made paella like families do on Sundays in Spain. We finished our meal with two different chef-prepared local desserts. Both were delicious. We would recommend this experience to anyone who wants to embrace Spanish culinary culture.

This is not to be missed! Jose is an amazing host and the food was incredible. We cooked authentic Paella Valenciana in Jose’s home and learned cooking techniques and ingredients we can use at home. This is THE must-do experience in Valencia! 5 stars!

Unbelievable. First Jose, great person, very friendly and professional. Smoothing from everyone, as if among friends, on any day that seemed like a Sunday with family. In his flat, cooking together, discovering chef tricks and the food has come out very very rich. I recommend it to everyone.

Jose welcomed us into his home and treated us as if we were family, a truly personalized experience! We had delicious drinks and amazing tapas in addition to the paella, too many good things that it is impossible to pick only one favorite. We had so much fun learning about the local region foods and using new tools in the kitchen we have not used before. An incredible experience that I highly recommend, Jose’s personality and Michelin tasting food definitely make it worth it.
