Starting with the market visit you experience how passionate Greeks are about their food. Everything we made used fresh, simple ingredients but was delicious.

We had a great time. Vasia was knowledgeable and entertaining. We had classmates from Germany, Belgium and England and it was fun to spend time cooking with them and getting to chat with eachother. I highly recommend this.

Fun fundamentals of preparing Greek dishes. We enjoyed the group and the trip through the market. Reminds you of Fulton fish market, Seattle Fish and Chinatown in NYC only a smaller scale. You don’t cook only prepare each dish and it is cooked in the other room.

Excellent class. Thanasis was fun to be with, explained the hows and whys of traditional Greek cuisine and helped us cook some wonderful dishes. Highly recommend this class as a way to learn about a country’s culture at the start of any international trip.

You start by taking a walk through the market - which is very close by - then come back for cooking. Our host was great. Everyone got a chance for hands on prep and some cooking. We cooked 5 or 6 dishes - I was surprised it fit the time, but it was spot on. Then we enjoyed our feast! Note: location is up some tight circular stairs. I think that might be mentioned in the description.

This cooking class with a market visit was one of the absolute highlights of our trip! From start to finish, the experience was perfectly organized and full of energy. Our chef and host was not only incredibly skilled but also *hilarious*—her humor and engaging personality kept all 12 of us smiling, laughing, and learning throughout the entire class. The market visit was such a great way to begin the day. We got to explore local ingredients, learn how to choose the freshest produce and spices, and get a real sense of the local food culture. Back in the kitchen, the hands-on cooking portion was so much fun. The chef made sure everyone participated and explained everything clearly, adding plenty of tips and tricks we can actually use at home. The dishes we prepared were delicious, and there was *plenty* of food to enjoy. I loved that we could even take home leftovers if we wanted—such a thoughtful touch! If you’re looking for a memorable, authentic, and truly enjoyable food experience, don’t hesitate—**book this class!** It’s perfect for couples, solo travelers, and groups alike.

It was great! The market shopping was interesting and the food we made was delicious! The wine was fine as well. Totally worth it.

This was a fantastic experience and I highly recommend it! Everyone who chose to was able to participate in the class which was taught very nicely by The Greek Kitchen staff (I'm sorry but I forgot our teacher's name). We made and tasted so many delicious Greek foods and treats--but the best thing for me was to get over my fear of working with phylo dough! We made spinach pie spirals and it was incredibly easy! Now I can try them at home.

Really had an excellent time. Went at the 3pm slot so didn’t actually shop but still went round market and was shown places etc. all shopping done early morning when produce at its best. Great facilities. Good selection of good to prepare and cook with plenty of it. Good size group. Really enjoyed this

This cooking class was a very nice experience and nice variety compared to all the sights. It is very interesting to hear more about the market and Greek purchasing and eating habits. The female cook knew a lot to tell and the explanation was clear. Everyone was put to work with some real Greek snacks to enjoy in the meantime. After everything was ready, we could enjoy these delicious Greek dishes together with a glass of wine. All in all a very nice, educational change from strolling past old excavations.
