Poor guide and no honesty

1.00The weather was bad and the probability of seeing the northern lights was low. Since the weather was cloudy and snowy, they asked us if we wanted to get on the road and chase the lights instead of being stationary at the glass house. We agreed and got into a van with couple of other folks. Our guide Micheal picked us up and we were on the road for 6 hours without any sight of the lights. Would’ve appreciated some honesty about the weather being bad and not seeing the lights but instead we drove around north and south for 6 hours amidst snow and bad weather. They could’ve told us to postpone this tour to the next day when weather would be good. Will not recommend this tour as it was totally not worth the money we paid.

5.00We were picked up on time, had a short drive and a wonderful view of the Northern Lights. Michael our tour guide was very good in helping people set their cameras for great pictures.

5.00Highly recommend this tour! The pick-up and drop-off at the hotel were well organized. The glass house is very spacious and offers plenty of snacks and hot drinks, making the experience very comfortable. The best part is that we could watch the Northern Lights dancing right from the room—it felt so lucky and magical. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience, and I would recommend it to friends!

5.00Awesome experience! Michael’s glass house is the place for aurora in Fairbanks. It is warm, it has great sofa chair and everything in it. And the view is incredible from both inside and outside of the house. 10/10 recommended!

5.00I had an amazing experience at the Aurora Glass House. The setup was beautiful, and everything was very well organized. Our guide, Micheal, was extremely professional—he explained how to take great aurora photos and even helped take pictures for us. Highly recommended! The glass house was warm and well-prepared, stocked with snacks like cup noodles, water, and tea. The whole visit lasted about 4 hours and was very comfortable and enjoyable. Driver picked us up in the hotel and set us back. Totally worth it.

5.00So happy we booked this experience. We kept trying to see the Aurora on our own but fell short and didn't want to miss them so we booked this tour. It was more than we could have asked for. We were extremely lucky to have booked during a strong solar storm so we got breathtaking images. Guides were very helpful and it was so nice to have the warm cozy glass house to go into to escape the - 9 degree weather for a bit so we could go back out again and again to see the beautiful lights!!!! Also the guide took pics of everyone and then shared all his amazing pics with us.

5.00This is definitely an excellent tour. The team picked us up at hotel, and drive us back to the hotel. During the tour, the guide will remind us whenever there is any aurora burst to help us get the best experience.

5.00Seeing and getting a photoshoot with the Northern lights for the first time were exhilarating . This was what Michael service provided us . We went to a tour on 11/6/25 with @Alaskawildlifeguide and were very disappointed. We learned that the aurora viewing depends on the weather and the presence of the aurora . The local people told us that the sky must be clear . On 11/6/25 the sky was very cloudy until 11/8/25 so the chance of viewing was zero . Alaskan Wild Life Guide did not cancel our trip due to the weather as the site suggested . We felt that we were taken advantage because we did not know .

5.00It was a beautiful night! It was so convenient being pick we up and dropped off at our hotel! They provided salty snacks, coffee, and instant cocoa. The hosts would let us know if the northern lights were getting particularly bright so we could bundle up and step out! If you were hanging out in the cabin there were enough chairs for everyone but not all close to the window so try to enter and get good seats quickly when you arrive. They were very understanding of our sleepy kiddos. The photography provided was beautiful too! This is such a great option if chasing isn't for you like it wasn't for us having our elementary age kids along. We highly recommend!

5.00Michael and Stella are great. We were so happy w them. Tonight we will go w them again for 3rd night. They are much better compared to our 1st night we booked w the other tour company. So happy that we found them. Glass house is brand new and clean. Guides Michael and Stella are exceptional. Michael even took very beautiful pictures for everyone. We highly recommended them. 👍👍👍.
