In an old farmhouse in the hills of Sorrento, you will embody the spirit of the local culinary tradition, learning the secrets and techniques of our signature dishes. We will harvest vegetables from the garden and prepare two types of fresh pasta and tiramisu for dessert in an old country kitchen. Finally, you will taste it all on a terrace overlooking the Gulf of our beloved Sorrento.

5.00What a fun, informative, and memorable experience we had with Gennaro and Martina — we even got some helpful tips from their Nonna as we spent the afternoon cooking, eating and tasting wine and homemade limoncello in the kitchen of their beautiful farmhouse! Rain or shine, this is a delightful way to spend the afternoon if you’re in or around Sorrento. The family went above and beyond from the moment we booked, including Martina seamlessly switching the reservation when I inadvertently selected and paid for the class on a day we weren’t going to be in Italy. Though we couldn’t match the farm-fresh ingredients including lemons, cheese, eggs, and cream when we got back home, thanks to the simple recipes and careful instruction — plus Gennaro patiently answering every question our group came up with — we were able to make a pretty impressive ravioli!

5.00This was a highlight of our time in Sorrento. Gennaro and his family were so welcoming and what an honour to cook on a farm that is 300 years old. We made pasta, ravioli and tiramisu- all from scratch. It was so educational, the food fresh and delicious. There was banter friendship and fun to be had. You will not be disappointed by this experience. 10/10 for us both.

5.00Martina and her family we so welcoming. The pasta we made was amazing! They gave us wine that her father made, and the ingredients that were used to make pasta were from her farm. I would highly recommend this class! It was the highlight of my trip and all of my tours!

5.00This class was amazing from beginning to end! The entire family was so gracious. The property is so beautiful. Gennaro made the class fun and interactive. The food was delicious! Our group was composed of 3 smaller groups of friends and family and we all had so much fun that we went out for drinks together afterwards! Truly an unforgettable experience!

5.00Beautiful experience with Gennaro and his sister in a lovely home and exceptional kitchen! We enjoyed making the tiramisu and pasta but we loved eating it all with the people we met! I would do this again and again! Nona’s sauce was bellísimo and fantástica!!
