Worst tour ever - As There were only 8 guests, we were assigned a small vehicle not normally used for tour groups (Ford Transit van - not suitably equipped for tour groups) No space to store your day packs, no cup holders for drinks, no water issued on the bus, no leg room, no sound system for your guide to talk to us, For such a long trip the driver should not be the guide. No instructions nor clarity about the itinerary, no defined lunch stop. If there were not enough customers to warrant use of a proper vehicle, the tour operator should have cancelled the trip. Very un happy customers !

Strasbourg a wonderful place of old world Europe. A beautiful mix of Germany and France. We ate lunch at the Mummelsee restaurant in the Black Forest. Food was excellent and the views outstanding. Boris did an awesome job of pointing out the highlights and getting us there and back safely.

Very beautiful and great. Strasbourg was really beautiful. We didn't do much in the black forest. Also Baden Baden was dark while we visited. The tour guide Mr. Peter was very informative and friendly. One thing I did not like is the time management was not there. We returned to Frankfurt at 9.30 pm instead of 7.30 pm. Otherwise all went good.

Our guide Peter was a lovely, friendly man however the experience was not very good. Our time was poorly managed. We went to Strasbourg first. We wandered around the square to wait on the next mini train for 25 minutes on our own but were told not to go far since it wasn’t clear when the next one would be there. It was an interesting enough tour on the train but not great. When we finished we had to wait to go into the cathedral since it was closed for lunch. Peter said normally we would have lunch at a restaurant in the Black Forest but it was closed for the season so if we were ok we could eat in Baden Baden around 2. Everyone agreed. We left strasbourg but didn’t feel like we had really seen much. Drove to the Black Forest through a lot of fog but ended at the high point which was very crowded. We hung around the shops area without knowing what we should do or how long we would be there. We were told we would still eat in Baden Baden so we didn’t get anything even though it was 4 pm by now. It was 4:30 by the time we left since someone went in to store to buy something, the store was very crowded. We were then told it was 2 hours to Baden Baden and it was already getting dark. When we arrived in Baden Baden we walked around a dark town with almost everything closed. We finally found a restaurant open and ate there. As the check came we were told it was cash only so we all scrambled to get cash. We arrived back in Frankfurt around 9:30. This was a very disappointing day. Baden Baden was supposed to be one of the main highlights but it was a shut down dark town. If we were there middle of day we could have taken a casino tour at 1. I have taken many tours in many countries. There is usually a clear time schedule and direction such as we will meet back at this spot at xx time to leave, we will tour xx together then you will have time to explore on your own. We all just stood around not sure what we were doing or timing.

It was a small group so there were many opportunities to ask questions and learn about the area. The tour guide was very attentive to our interests and needs.
