The Barcelona Walking Tour of the Gothic Quarter (Semi Private and Private options available!) introduces you to one of Barcelona’s most notable neighborhoods of this magical city. Follow your professional local expert guide through some of Barcelona’s most historic areas, either in your very own private group or, if you selected a Small Group Tour, in a group of ONLY 6 people max. Your guide will take you down narrow streets that are centuries old with tales and legends to prove it, bringing the Gothic Quarter to life. Hear the stories and tales behind some of the most culturally and historically significant architecture works in the city and learn about the crossroads of cultures including the Roman, Goth, Jewish, and Spanish. Your tour also includes entry tickets to the Cathedral of Barcelona, and a visit to the top!

Begin this fantastic walking tour at the Barcelona Cathedral, also known as the Cathedral of St. Eulalia. The cathedral is a wonderful example of Gothic architecture at its finest. The Gothic Quarter is a must see when visiting Barcelona, situated in Barcelona's Ciutat Vella (Old Town). A walk through this neighborhood is a walk through European history. You will also visit the cloisters where within the courtyard live 13 white geese, known as the Well of Geese, symbolizing the years of St Eulalia’s life before she was tragically taken away by the Romans. Your entrance tickets also includes a visit to the top of the Cathedral for stunning views and photo ops!

Olga was an exceptional guide. She was very knowledgeable, and very kind and friendly. We would love to have a tour with her again if we return to Barcelona. Liv is a great option for tours, everything went well and their arrangements for the various pieces of the tour were great.

We had a fantastic guide tour of the Gothic Quarter! Our guide Edu was incredibly knowledgeable and super friendly. Perfect for our family w three kids (10, 16 and 18 yrs). I highly recommend it!

My husband and I had a wonderful tour with Patrick covering the Gothic quarter, La Sagrada Familia, and Park Guell. Patrick is very friendly and knowledgeable about the rich history of Barcelona. We enjoyed our time with him as he answered all of our questions and never felt rushed during the day. He even stayed over the tour end time to help walk us back to catch a taxi at the end of our tour. We appreciate his kindness, patience and eagerness while educating us on this amazing city.

We loved our morning walking tour around the Gothic Quarter and Cathedral of Barcelona with Alfredo. He was so generous sharing his knowledge and historic insights of Barcelona. Getting access to the Terrace above the Cathedral was very special and the 360 degree view of the city was incredible. Such a worthwhile experience, particularly if you have limited time in the City. And if you’re lucky enough to have Alfredo as your guide, you’re in for a treat!

Valentina was amazing during our 2 hour tour together. I was able to get the history but also fun stories about the areas we visited. I have use LIVE tours in Italy and am loving them in Barcelona!

My son and I enjoyed our tour of Cathedral and Gothic Quarter. The pace and route were perfect and learning about the history made it even more enjoyable. Highly recommend it. I wish I brough my daughter as well, she did a similar tour with her college group (she was studying in Spain) a day before but with a different agency and did not enjoy it. They did not go into Cathedral (for us was the highlight of the tour) and did not get any history context.
